I absolutely love Cholula Cooking & Simmer Sauce. The flavor is incredible and it instantly became one of my favorite sauces to keep in the kitchen. The moment I open the jar, the smell is amazing and makes me excited to start cooking. It has such a rich, creamy, thick texture that coats everything perfectly and adds so much flavor to every meal. I also love how versatile it is because I can use it for chicken, tacos, pasta, rice dishes, and even as a dipping sauce. It makes homemade meals taste restaurant quality without much effort. This was one of the most flavorful summer sauces I have used in years. I used my birria for birria tacos and got compliments from my whole family. The simmer sauce has a great smoky flavor without overpowering the meat. The spice level is pretty low, so it can be enjoyed by everyone. I would absolutely use this again!

Tried this sauce and really enjoyed it. Great flavor with just the right amount of heat. It's not overpowering, but enough to give it a nice kick. It brought a lot of depth and richness to the dish without needing much extra seasoning. Definitely something I'd buy again for an easy and flavorful meal.

I bought this on the clearance shelf and went back to get them all and they were gone...so I ordered 6 of them online from Wal-Mart. It's awesome on beef and other stuff. I eat it like ketchup on everything! So good with a little kick of heat! Love It!

I love me some Birria anything. When I had the chance to try Cholula brand, I had too. The directions say a 3lb chuck roast and the Birria simmering sauce in a insta pot. I don't have that so I put it in the crockpot on low for a few hours. I followed the directions with that one exception. The day of I made birria tacos with the corn tortillas and dipped it in the consume. The 2nd day is when the flavor really kicked in. My opinion is this is the closest you will get to authentic Mexican Birria.

The Cholula Birria Cooking & Simmer Sauce made such an easy and really good meal. I put a chuck roast in the crock pot on low for several hours, shredded it, dipped corn tortillas in the sauce, fried them, added shredded Mexican cheese, and made birria tacos for a party appetizer. Everybody loved them and said they tasted like restaurant tacos. The sauce had a little more spice than I usually eat, but it wasn't too spicy. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 stars out of 5.

I love Cholula products and faithfully only use their hot sauce BUT this is 1 item I will not purchase again. I was excited to try but left me disappointed. Now don't get me wrong it has flavor and a kick, but way too thick and salty. It didn't say to add water but I had to because that 1 bottle didn't even cover the meat. Even after adding water it was still EXTREMELY salty and still turned out too thick. Couldn't even use it to dip the tacos. Sorry but Cholula dropped the ball on this one.

This sauce made it easy to make delicious birria at home. I used it with beef in the slow cooker, and the meat came out tender and full of flavor. The dipping broth was tasty, and my family really enjoyed it. It was a little salty, so I would avoid adding extra salt while cooking. I would buy this again.
