Pull a vacuum if it isn't cold enough for you.
Slowly over a couple of years my AC blew warmer each Sumer. I kept hearing that I "MUST" pull a vacuum on the system before I add this product. I spoke with a service manager, and he said that it would be far better if you do but, assuming there are no faults or leaks in the system it will work and get cold without the vacuum, but it won't get as cold. It is up to you. Is it cold enough for you?

California version is self-sealing can.
Convenient to use just has to buy the corresponding hose. Keep in mind to buy a hose with a fitting that is compatible with self-sealing top if you're buying this in California. Also, weigh the can prior to filling then weigh after to get an idea how much you have filled.

Wasn't able to return item for core charge it needs to be informed on how to return it if the purchase was made online Walmart employee wasn't able to assist me with that issues

Don't buy in California (No Can Deposit return)
This review is if you are a purchaser from California. The can has a $10 refundable deposit reflected in the sale price, deposit payable if can is returned within 90 days of purchase. There is no end date to the offer on the can. However, the California requirement for this can deposit ended in December 2024. So, if you buy this can that includes the deposit in the price, you will be out $10 per can since Walmart or the rechargeac.com manufacturer will not honor the deposit return in 2025. Without the deposit return, R134a refrigerant can be purchased elsewhere for less. Other than being more expensive, the refrigerant works fine in my car. The top is self-sealing, meaning that it is designed for hoses that require a California adapter.

Price gouging!
Too pricey for refrigerant! $20 for 12oz is just ridiculous and shame on you! Just buy from Amazon, it's half the price.
