Good way to buy beans. They come in a great bag that you can reuse, and the beans are wonderful. Much better than beans from the grocery store.

I feel like this is a great deal for the lbs and variety of product. I like that it is from a farm in America, and you can more accurately know where it came from. Plus, I just think it's so well packaged (cute and dependable).

After rinsing the oily smell off, and cooking the smell is gone and a delicious taste come out.

The burlap bag keeps them shelf stable longer. Plastic just puts chemicals in. Taste is super delicious!

I'm all for supporting domestic farms which grow foods requiring little or no processing so despite possible advertising hype I was eager to try it out. The reuseable burlap packaging was also appealing. Unfortunately the lentils themselves seemed to have absorbed odor/taste from the burlap bag - perhaps the moisture-proof coating on the inside of the burlap bag contributed to the trouble. Normal thorough rinsing of the lentils did not dispel the burlap smell or taste, repeated rinsing and soaking followed by more rinsing and soaking (up to 8 hours soak) did remove the outermost covering of the lentils along with most of the odd taste but a little was still there. I've never had Covid to scramble olfactory/ sense of taste and so believe my observation to be accurate, a disappointing experience.
