This has changed my skincare routine! This is the only exfoliating cleaners I've ever used you can see results truly after thr first use. I am so happy I have found it here so it's also affordable as well. This has earned a forever spot in my routine.
Works great for pores compared to a bunch of other cleansers that clogs pores. I used to use CeraVe Acne Face Wash, Acne Cleanser for years, but I always had clogged pores once in a while until I found out it has ingredients in it thats can cause this issues even though they claim the opposite. If you want to know what kind of cleansers that can actually helps your skin like this. i highly recommend a ingredient checker. go on https://acneclinicnyc.com/ acneclinicnyc does that job for you for free. Just copy the ingredients, and paste on the ingredient checker. I'm not sponsoring them or anything, I'm just giving a honest review on what change my skin using that ingredient checker, and out of over 20 cleansers I tried, this Cetaphil cleaner was the only one that acually had reliable ingredients that actually doesn't cause clogged pores . I also have rosacea, and this Cleanser is very gentle for sensitive like it mentions on the bottle. so yah very legit Cleanser, an highly recommended.
Cetaphil is known for great changing skin results. I use Cetaphil on other parts of my body because of dry extra dry skin. This product really has great skin qualities. Cetaphil is right one use is all it takes.
I love this cleanser. It doesn't strip my skin or damage it's moisture barrier, while cleansing my skin completely. I wouldn't depend on this alone to combat acne, you will need something more. I like toner with salicylic acid. It's unfortunate that in my 50's that I still have to worry about clogged pores, but at least I don't have a lot of wrinkles.
I buy the 16oz size because I use this cleanser as a face and body wash. I like that it cleanses well but is not drying on by acne prone dehydrated skin type. I would like it to foam a little more but that would probably make it more drying. It is fragrance free and not irritating on my sensitive skin.
Since I started using this once per day in my evening showers, my acne has almost completely disappeared. However, I also cut out red meat, lost weight, and generally improved my diet starting around the same time, so I can't say it's all this, but I'm willing to bet that it helped! As a warning, this is gentle enough to not cause a reaction of any kind (at least on me) but it CAN be drying, so make sure you have a good face cream for after your wash!
This feels like a standard face wash to me, but unfortunately, it really dries out my skin. I have eczema and very sensitive skin, and I find that I have to apply moisturizer immediately after using this to stop that tight, dry feeling. It might be too harsh if you struggle with chronic dryness.
If you have eczema, don't use it. Felt like it stripped a layer on my skin. My face felt so tender, the feeling after a face sunburn. Would not recommend
I purchased the cleanser and lotion after watching video reviews and doing follow-up reading. I was looking to correct hyperpigmentation and have t-zone sensitive skin. Both products smell like chemicals and the lotion leaves a sticky residue. After two weeks I got my first pimple in years. May be the random sunflower oil??? It also leaves a burning sensation on my skin. I wanted this to work but you should not feel dirty and poisoned after washing and moisturizing your face. 😭
dont risk it if you have sensitive skin. used it twice and have horrible contact dermatitis. now i have to go to the derm to get rid of these horrible itchy blisters. waste of money
