Char-Griller® AKORN® 20-inch Kamado Charcoal Grill in Graphite

This is a great priced Kamado grill. It holds the temp very well and can get hotter than 800 degrees. This is my second one and it works very well when adding chips to the charcoal for extra flavor. I highly recommend it as an alternative to the other egg shaped grills.

We love our grill! We had originally found this grill at Menards for a much steeper price. We had done some research and found it here. Came early from shipping. We use it every weekend. It holds heat phenomenally and is only warm to the touch on the outside.

from start to first use every thing was perfect, 100 lb carton delivered right to front door, assembly instruction very easy to understand, remembered the erector set as a kid. After curing the grill grate the first use was for half a chicken, figured that would be easy and it was grill came up to proper temp. using lump charcoal very easily and maintained heat of 350 for 45 minutes. I do recommend this grill

This was a birthday gift to my husband and he absolutely loves it. He says it's the best grill he has ever had. I assembled it by myself to surprise him when he came home. It was surprisingly easy to assemble but it is heavy!! It came with no imperfections or damage. It was a lot bigger then I had expected too! It was absolutely perfect and I will definitely order the same grill again. Overall super impressed, 1000/10!!!

An excellent Kamado—fantastic value for the price. I've gone through many options, and I find this Kamado to be truly outstanding. The way it retains heat is impressive, and the smoked results are spectacular. 100% recommended. The charcoal lasts quite a while when you keep it sealed, and the meat turns out super juicy and flavorful—it tastes spectacular; truly excellent.

I was looking at kamado grills and decided on the Acorn. I grill more than I smoke so the extra money for a Green Egg, Kamado Joe, etc. wasn't worth it for me. The Acorn is just as good for grilling and 80-90% as good for smoking at a fraction of the price. It also looks great and is built like a tank.

I couldn't be happier with this grill! My husband and I are new to grilling but have been able to grill everything from pork butt to pizza to Jalepeno poppers on this and have found it to be a mostly easy learning curve due to how well this grill retains heat. The food always comes out moist and juicy and cleanup is easy! I do think it works slightly better as a grill than a smoker even with the smoking stone, but that may be because we are new and still learning the ropes! Everything about the grill is so convenient and we love the shelves and hooks for utensils, as well as the wheels. We also bought the cover which fits perfectly!

my acorn came with pre shipping damage to the bottom tub and ashtray/damper combo. customer service was great about replacement but i have to wait till May for my replacement parts because they are out of stock. the grill is still usable with the bendt and scrapped up damage and I love this grill for searing and cooking steaks. Customer service is great but their quality control sucks at the manufacturer facility. The way this grill was packed so good it was a joke to see this prepackaged damage with extreme protection and double boxed with no damage to either box. I have to be honest it is a well made grill compare to how most are currently but Im hesitant to buy anything else with the poor inspection before packing.

first off gotit today from fedex box came it great shape no issue so start to take girl out of the box to put it together and right from the start i find quality of item was poor as no grill grate should break and this one was snap in to pieces so the problem started contact Char Griller to go over the problem voice prompt message states all there help is online and could take up to 48 hours for someone to each out to you buy email and if they think they need contact you by phone they will. SO No customer service run arounds and you pay 300 bucks you would expect to notch customer service not a run around plus you would expect quality control to be much better as this was a shipping problem but a factory or warehousing problem. Thank you to Walmart for getting on this like Char Griller should and fix the problem ASAP not days later. I am not ever sure they would even care
