NO spray/oil needed! You even get a batter scoop, so you do not have to guess the amount. There is also an overflow ridge. Bought for work for Waffle Wednesdays. I am going to get another one because the other types I purchased, I have had to throw out.
This really makes breakfast fast and easy, and really good. Love the cord holder on the back, you can keep it right on the counter. I use Red Mills egg replacer instead of chicken eggs, and oat milk instead of water and the waffles come out SO yummy! ❤️ Meat.org
I have tried several different waffle makers including the flip over type. This one beats any other one. The included measuring cup provides accurate batter amounts, so no more crusty spill-overs. Custom settings makes it easy to tailor the degree of preferred color and crispness. The ready button lights up when the temperature is ready for the degree of preferred doneness. Each waffle takes very little time and for 3 adults I can pretty much keep up with demand. It's easy to use and the non-stick feature is awesome.
I really like this waffle maker. It works pretty fast and does a great job. Made waffles with my 5 yr old Granddaughter and she got a huge kick out of waiting for the lights to go on and off. I didn't want to take the time to make Waffle batter, so I just used Krusteaz pancake mix. They came out a little thin, but were really great tasting. My Granddaughter likes the softer waffles vs crispy so I'll stick with using pancake mix that you just add water too. The only negative I have is the cord is way too short! I have a lot of other appliances that have short cords, but none are this short. That would be my only complaint. Everything else is great!
This really does make Belgium waffles and they are mess free!! I hate when the batter runs out the side and down the waffle maker. Makes terrible mess as I am not good at judging exactly how much batter. Our granddaughter helped mix the batter and we made waffles. Nice and thick which is exactly what I wanted. Have had several over the years that just didn’t make them thick. Granddaughter loved them so much, PLAIN, that she took part of mine as well and said “Thank you Gamma!” Nice and crispy waffles without the mess. What’s not to love about that?
I would highly recommend this item for anyone for anyone that wants a good non overflow waffle maker. the only problem i have with it is if you put to much dough in it and lock it in place it might overflow so make sure you only add one scoop and no more other then that its perfect! perfect bang for your buck!
Easy to use variable heat adjuster and indicator lights on top let you know when it’s finished cooking. Get perfect Waffles in minutes. Use the measuring cup provided for the right amount of batter with minimal mess to clean up. Also made Cinnamon Roll waffles using canned cinnamon rolls.
This is by far the best waffle maker I have ever owned. I love the overflow feature, and the scoop that comes with, it gives just the right measurement. I also love the different light / dark features so that you can pick just the right doneness that you want. it is very very easy to clean also.
Really good for the price. In the week since we got it, we've used it 4 times. Very easy to clean, heats fast, feels sturdy. Here is my "Fall Cakes" recipe, I made it myself and it makes exactly 1 waffle. Very filling. **Ingredients** - ½ cup rolled oats - 3 tbsp JustEgg (or 1 egg) - ¼ cup milk (any type) - 1/2 tbsp maple syrup - ½ tsp baking powder - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/8 tsp clove - 1/8 tsp nutmeg - Pinch of salt Mix ingredients and blend until batter-y. Will not be smooth. Cook in waffle maker on settings 5-Max. **Nutrition (approx, without toppings)** Calories: ~220 • Protein: ~6g • Carbs: ~33g • Fat: ~4g
I was excited to make Belgium waffles for breakfast. However it turned to disappointment quickly. It states it is “Anti-overflow”, but it spilled out the side on my first use. So I put less batter in it the next time. However it overflowed into the batter overflow channel, making it look like a weird waffle when serving. Appearance was terrible. Finally, it was way too thin to be a Belgium Waffle. Sorry I purchased it.
