Chicken Coop Heater, 100/200 Watts Energy Efficient Safe Radiant Space Heater, 3 Installation Style

Bought this because it is truly for outdoor use for a,semi enclosed patio. I had provided insulated cold weather shelters for my outdoor pets on the patio ,but wanted to provide a safe way to warm up the small area near the shelters. This was a perfect solution. While it wont heat the entire patio, it provided enough warmth for a small area for a,semi enclosed patio during cold weather.

I previously had a heat lamp bulb in my chicken coop. I knew it was dangerous and worried all the time that it would catch my coop on fire. My chickens love the heat on very cold days and would huddle under the light. I saw this heater and thought it would be a great idea for my coop. I love it! I have it down on the floor and my chickens can get close to it without fear of a fire. It has legs with holes to put it on a board. I screwed mine to a piece of plywood so it won't tip over. It also has the option to hang it or mount it to the wall. The cord is very long, and it is covered with metal so the chickens won't peck through it. I tried hanging it from the ceiling, but they wouldn't stand under it. At first, they were a little leery about it and wouldn't go near it. It took about a week to get used to it, but they love it now. My mind is also at ease because they have a very safe heater!

I got this for a friend but found out she just purchased one herself for her chickens. It got cold here, and when I went to turn on my furnace for my house. I discovered I did not have any heat. So I put the chicken heater in my bedroom for the night. It was wonderful it didn't make any noise, which is a big plus for me. There is no fan making a noise. It appears to be safe as it has a very thick cord that is like a cable. I would think any chicken or critter would have a very hard time trying to bite into it. It has a 6-12 hour setting that can be repeated by itself if needed. It doesn't get too hot to the outer cover. It does not get red like in the picture it remains black when in use. I loved the fact it was safe, no noise, auto cut off, and it was very stable with the base. The cord was long enough for being able to move it where it was needed. Most of all, I shut my bedroom door and turned it on. It was enough heat for me to sleep without being cold. Any chicken would love having one of these in their chicken coop. I know I loved having it in my bedroom. I still dont have heat so this is my heat for now.

It hasn't been cold enough yet for my Chickens. I used it the other evening in my sitting room because the room doesn't receive much heat. To my surprise it worked perfectly and kept my room toasty. I do have a wood stove in that room , but it's getting too hard for my 87 year old husband to keep it going. I especially like the fact that I can hang it or put it on the wall so that it would be safe for chicken, children and pets. Very heavy cord. We have a short winter. I believe I'll get one for my chickens now. This one's staying in my sitting room.😀Also perfect for a small pole barn. I believe this to be safe. It kept me warm so I'm sure my chickens will be happy.

Wow this warmer is very nicely constructed. It warms up pretty quickly. I like that it has a safe plastic around the cord. Chickens like to investigate everything. They will stay nice and cozy with this heater. The heater has legs to attach I was thinking about just hanging it on the wall.

Great for small coops. Worked all winter in 0 and below cold. Chickens stood right by it so it is very safe no issues with burning them.

I use in my dog crates. Attached to the wall of the crate. Keeps my dogs warm. Operation easy. Product has been reliable. Good value.

Item was easy to set up and use. We have a small chicken coop and it didn't heat the coop very much at all. The heater might be good for a small area for newborn chicks. I would not recommend it for a chicken coop heater at all. If it wouldn't have gotten dust covered in the coop I would return it.

this does nothing it's supposed to do according to what it says it doesn't even get hot or turn red there's only three settings and it is definitely not a heater I don't know if it's defective or what I even tried it to make sure my pipes didn't freeze up and it wouldn't even heat up the bathroom it looks cool but it will not keep your pets warm
