I absolutely love it. I hate that not many stores offer it.

Can't wait to try all flavors!

Sandra April 21, 2020

Subtle flavor of Basil enhances the taste. The cup comes with its own little fork on the underside of the lid! Grab and go! So much neater than the tuna pouch!

Verified: They changed the ingredients. AWFUL now.

Amy July 24, 2023

I would buy at least 5 of these tuna bowls every week. They were made with skipjack tuna, EVOO and just a few herbs and tasted fresh. NOW they are made with light mushy tuna, water, and they added onion and garlic. Some might think adding onion and garlic would be tasty, but it's not. They now smell awful upon opening, and taste even worse. I contacted Chicken of the Sea and they verified they changed the recipe due to issues with sourcing and high cost of ingredients which they didn't want to pass on to consumers. Maybe I'll be in the minority here, but I just can't see how anybody who enjoyed the previous recipe will be happy with these. To me, they are inedible. Really too bad, they were a weekly staple in my house.

New recipe is horrible!

D October 16, 2023

Before, this was absolutely delicious with a hint of basil and olive oil, and now it only tastes of onion. I used to eat about one a day but will no longer. Also, there is less tuna with the protein going from 21 grams down to 17 grams. Cheap and gross.

change of ingredients without warning

PetRescuer August 3, 2023

This product tastes completely different because it no longer contains olive oil and has added onions. Both of my kids ate one of these a day and now we won't be buying them. I contacted Chicken of the Sea a few months ago when the flavor changed on the lemon/thyme variety and was told the basil recipe would not change. If, like another reviewer said, the manufacturer had to change the recipe, it should be clearly indicated on the label. I don't read ingredients each time I buy a product; I assume the recipe is the same if the label is. Now the container is 80 calories when it used to be 140. Then the price should be less with cheaper ingredients (water vs. olive oil).

Recipe was changed! Less protein and not as good!

Ashley June 19, 2023

We used to buy 4 or more of these with each Walmart order because they tasted great and were high in protein. Now they changed them and they aren't nearly as good. They also have less protein! We won't be buying them again unless they go back to the original recipe!
