Starkist EVOO Yellowfin tuna nails my idea of nutritiously delicious fast food. I'm rarely without a can in the cupboard for quick meals or on the go lunch. Excellent flavor is preserved best in olive oil. Easy open can makes it perfect for quick prep anywhere. Breaks up fast to add to a simple salad of lettuce and tomatoes, added to prepared (bagged or clamshell) salads, or tossed with pasta in olive oil with lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese. And of course makes a great tuna and egg salad sandwich.

I really like the flavor of this tuna. The olive oil adds a good flavor even though I drain most of it out of the can. I also have noticed the large chunked tuna pieces while taking it out of the can. That is a great quality! It's not mashed like another kind of tuna that I have bought in the past. I recommend buying this tuna fish. I will definitely by it again.

This is really good Tina. I had gotten to the point where I didn't even want to think about eating tuna anymore because of how it was packed in water and shredded – but when I saw this, I decided to try it. It's really good. I eat it at least two or three times a week.

😊👍 when someone got this big yucky idea to pack tuna in water I was absolutely floored it was hard to find tuna packed in oil...so I stopped buying it altogether.! Now someone actually got smart and got it right.! tuna in olive oil is absolutely the best in my opinion.! 😊👍

I was surprised to see this tuna for basically half the price that it normally is, for some reason it was only a dollar a can if I bought the pack of 24. it shipped from halfway across the country and I figured it would arrive with dented cans, but to my surprise only 2 out of all 24 were dented. I have been buying this tuna for many years, and sometimes it has been low quality especially if I order it from Amazon, it will have a lot of discoloration in the tuna. but this tuna was the best quality I've ever seen it be, very consistent and good color, great taste, and healthy. it was even better quality than the tuna from all of the Walmart stores in Arizona. so I guess wherever it shipped from, the store in Kentucky or something, must be getting the better quality tuna than is sent to Arizona walmarts. my only complaint is that Walmart does not tell you where an item will ship from. a lot of times I'm only interested in ordering products if they are shipped from nearby Walmarts in my state. sometimes I find out after placing the order that it will ship from a Walmart all the way across the country, and that can be a problem when ordering food because of the climate temperature changes along the journey since most shipping trucks are not climate controlled with air conditioning and heating to keep the food items exactly the right temperature which is different for every food item. an example is the Mona loa macadamia nuts, which have to be kept between 50 and 70°, so it doesn't make sense if they ship them to me from somewhere in a snowy icy climate or a very very hot climate, it wouldn't be safe.

I love this particular tuna in extra virgin olive oil. It actually is mostly chunks, instead of a can of mashed up tuna. The taste of this tuna in the extrovert olive oil is superior, however, I do try to press out as much oil as I can. I actually tried this exact tuna in a can in pricier brands, and it was not good! It had bones in it, and pieces of brown, mushy tuna, etc. This is the brand I buy now.

This is the only tuna we buy now. We had only bought Solid White Albacore for decades, but learned that Yellow fin is much lower in Mercury than Albacore. The olive oil version is richer and has a better flavor than water. Tuna canned in water has a metallic taste to it but the EVOO doesn't have that metallic aftertaste.

Delicious solid tuna; and great value in a 4-pack. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars, is because occasionally I get a batch where the ring pulls are hard to remove. This is not the case with my most recent purchase. So don't let my comment deter you from buying and enjoying this superior product. 👍😀

It's a agood tuna when there actually olive oil in them I recently bought a bulk amount of these cans and half were filled with more water than oil ….its good if u actually get your can with extra virgin olive oil but sometimes it's just water instead of oil so I'll give it a solid 3stars for this issue

Like many other reviewers wrote, I ordered yellowfin tuna and got light tuna. They are not the same! Yellowfin tuna is much more flavorful. The product (cans) I received does not match the pictures on the website. Why do you keep sending the wrong one? This is false advertising and a form of consumer fraud.
