I'm typically not a fan of sardines; I bought them for my husband who is a fan. Surprisingly, when he opened a can, they didn't have that strong fishy smell I usually try to avoid. This is the first time when he asked me to try some I did, and to my surprise it was very good. I may get more to increase my own intake of Omega 3's!
No bones about it. Larger Sardines but that's why they are filleted. Canned in a mild olive oil excellent taste and flavor. Depending on my mood, depends how I eat them. Saltines or Club crackers with a dash of hot sauce or mustard, Delicious
I like sardines packed in olive oil; I think this enhances their flavor and makes for less fishy-ness. These sardines are absolutely exquisite in my opinion-- sans bones and skin. I like to mash them and add a smallish dollop of mayo and top water crackers with them-- a tasty treat indeed. The only downside is that a 1 can serving is a little high in sodium. So bear this in mind if you have high blood pressure.
I grew up munching on Sardines, now for 45 yrs. Grew up in New Orleans. I know quality fish products. This brand is the absolute best. Great taste, High quality with obvious consistent quality control and my preference to Sardines in Olive Oil. Both of those 2 ingredients are extremely healthy. This product is Always fresh. Never any issues with these sardines having bones or skin lingering, as I prefer it this way. Always clean and packed perfectly every time. I highly recommend.
I figured I would give this brand a try. i haven't eaten sardines in at least 4 years. They are really really good, just as is or with a little mustard. I will buy this brand again.
My little Chiweenie loves all kinds of fish, and this has a lot of Omega 3 for her. There's enough in the can for 3 meals and I give it to her every other week. Her coat is so much healthier now.
I don't see very well. I recently purchased Seasons sardines in olive oil. Then I realized they were skinless and boneless. I'll not be purchasing sardines from Sam's Club unless you stock sardines with the full skin and bones. Sam's Club stocks Daves killer Bread but not the full size Good Seed Bread. I recently tried to purchase a shirt and found the Sam's Club selection was very skimpy. My experience so far is that Sam's Club doesn't serve my needs at all well.
I am disappointed that these have bones. I had put hot sauce on them and took a bite, full of bones, not just a few, that i could live with. I am very disappointed as i just bought 8, yes 8 boxes of these! hoping they don't all have bones. will update.
I was buying these for protein and because they are pretty good. Well the price has tripled within a week. I was purchasing them for $2.82 a can. I wanted to restock for the month and now the price is $6.15 a can. You must be ill to think raising the price that much is okay. This company is price gouging and that is not okay. And for that I will no longer spend my money with this company.
We ordered King Oscar whole sardines. Walmart substituted these filets on our delivery order without asking or notifying us. NOT happy with Walmart - these are not the same.
