The boneless, skinless Sardines from Portugal are my favorite. They are ready to go out of the can and do not have any possible "turn offs" for people who are trying to maximize lean protein while minimizing gross stuff like heads, scales, skin and bones. I specifically like these in olive oil for their taste and extra nutritional value. They also make a version in water that is unsalted if that is what you need, but I find myself pouring oil on them followed by salt.

let me start by saying i am NOT a sardine lover. i don't even like them. but i want to . this was the first sardine i have tried that I can eat and not hate (plain in olive oil). its milder than other brands. now its a fishy fish so it still needs mayo, pickled onion, and avocado. it looks like good quality. firm texture and no bones.

I was told to add Sardines to my diet so i gave these a try. if you like tuna fish youll love these. theyre a nice texture and not overly fishy, they had a mild fish taste blended with salt and olive oil. I ate over crackers. and purchased more!

I’ve tried virtually every sardine brand and these are my favorite as there’s no prep work of having to pick bones out. They also aren’t super small like some of the other brands. Delicious in a dish or straight out of the can.

I picked up a fondness for sardines in olive oil. They are a great source for protein. I haven't tried making sandwiches yet, but I think I will try that soon.
