It works for me in a chicken salad sandwich, and also in soup. No special storage is necessary, and I keep the can in my cupboard. Decent source of protein at a good price. I live alone, and don't do a great deal of cooking due to time constraints, and a quick chicken salad with chopped onion or scallion, some halved grapes, s%26p, in a sandwich is quick and convenient. Even easier when I am making soup with store-bought broth and some vegetables and rice or noodles. Give it a try and you'll learn the same thing. Two sandwiches for less than $3 is a bargain.

This brand is more and more difficult to find. I prefer it due to non-bio engineered unlike other brands. taste and texture is good. Hilarious that one can is over $8, two cans are under $6

It's about time a company started selling something other than dry and boring white meat! I love dark meat and I am thrilled to be able to get it in a can.

Great taste and great to keep on hand. Good in a sandwich or as part of a cassarole or snack.

Use this for anything from chicken tetrazinni to feeding the fur babies . Comes in handy to have around for all sorts of stuff.

Great that it is something you can keep in the cupboard on hand for some protein. Get out the bread and make sandwiches for lunches or put it in a stew/soup or in a dip or salad

This chicken used to be ok but over the last 6 months or so I keep getting foul-smelling and tasting chicken. It's absolutely disgusting and since I had stocked up and was rotating I really don't know how long ago I bought each batch. At first I thought well maybe it's just 1-2 but now I notice every can I open is nasty gross even when I try to tell myself it's in my head. Nope. I eat a couple bites and I spit it out and throw it away. Shame on valley fresh there are other reviews here saying the same and you've completely lost me as a customer. Which sucks because this was the only canned chicken that worked for me.

Taste is ok but once you pour off the water you just a half a can of chicken. pretty disappointing. I'll stick with GV breast meat can.

ordered a 4 pk, only got 2. every time i buy groceries online, something has to be shipped to me, and most every time, there is an issue. this has gotten old, very old.
