I have used the CIPA mirrors for several months towing a 28' enclosed trailer. These mirror extensions fit tight so there is no vibration while driving. They conform to the existing mirrors so well that you don't even notice they have been added. And they extend far enough out to let the driver see the traffic behind a large trailer. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
You should really have instructions that instruct: you should first spray the ball behind the mirrors with lithium grease, slowly move the mirror back and forth to loosen the mirrors so they are adjustable. Then install the rubber stickers on the bars, wax your existing mirrors and install the extension mirrors.
Bought a set of 2 towing mirrors for my 2017 Silverado. They were easy to install and to remove after use. Great design!
Work very well I am happy with the quality of the item and would recommend. I have a 2026 Chevy Silverado work truck dbl cab.
Used on a 2008 Escalade towing a 24 foot trailer and they worked great. Drove over 3000 miles and they never came lose or had any issues. I love that they still allow the mirrors to fold in when needed.
Fit great, would definitely recommend.
They fit good but hard part is having my main mirror and the extended mirror on you see double but slowly getting use to it. Nice if made a full mirror that covers the main mirror then you have one mirror like image
We could not find on the site which model, year and make of Chevy this mirror fit on. It is clearly stated on the box itself. Once we saw the box we knew it was the wrong model or mirror for our model,of truck.
They did not fit my existing mirrors on my '96 F250. I returned them with no problem
Broke passenger side. Thought I would get exact replacement for set previously ordered. Guess looks don't matter since on opposite side. Mounting is ridiculous. Plastic screw/bolt which has to be taken out to hit correct place on even more ridiculous wedge. Guess I can tape wedge to mirror to keep from losing it when not in use!
