It's not only for stews, sauces, and stock.
Well after receiving my stock pot I washed it and put it to work. I made a double batch of old fashioned Cocoa Fudge. It worked excellent. A little lite for the job but cooked the sugar, milk, and Cocoa powder without any problems. All in all I give it a 9 out of 10. But it and try it for yourself.

Well worth it for the price.
The thicker metal on the bottom—and It is cute for a pot! Also the side handles and so far to lid handle don't get too hot. Am happy with it and the price.

Great pan but very heavy
This is a very mixed review because I love this pan but it is heavy. I bought it for fudge making and I can barely hold it long enough to pour the fudge out. I can obviously use it for other things but I needed a pan suitable for fudge.
