Decided to can my bumper crop of peaches this year and make peach pie filling. I have never heard of clear jel until I started researching recipes. This stuff is amazing!! It gels up nicely and very quickly. You know your product is going to turn out perfectly right away. Pectin can be hit or miss, and this stuff thickens up immediately. Will use every year for now on!
This works great for thickening fruit sauces for pie fillings and homemade jellies and jams. It does not change the flavor of the fruit mixture at all nor does it change the color.
Just what I needed when canning cherry pie filling. It was my first time using and it was easy peasy. I wish it came in a smaller size because it's not something that will be used often.
This is exactly what I needed to thicken my hot pepper mustard before water bath canning. Wish I had known about it earlier. Much safer than regular corn starch.
I love this clear jel. if you have ever tried to can pie filling so you can just open a jar and pour into a pie shell, you will love it too. The filling comes out smothe instead of lumpy and runny. perfect!
we like this product. we used it to make bubble recipe. Bubble solution: 12 cups of water 1 cup of dish soap 1 cup of cornstarch 2 Tbsp baking powder ....now go out and make some bubbles!! I also used it in my gardening. some plants do well with add aide like moss or this corn product add in water.
easy to use. great for making/canning homemade pie fillings.
Great product. Works great!
took longer to get than expected, its basically cornstarch just more refined, dont understand why its not ebt eligible, works well, couple times it took more than what was called for to get the right setting, ive ordered it couple times and will again for my canning my pie fillings
The package arrived busted. I tried to contact the seller. I finally took the product to a local Wal-Mart for a refund. If the seller had responded, I have gladly taken a replacement.
