I'm really happy with Certo Premium Liquid Fruit. It's one of those kitchen products that makes preparing homemade recipes much easier and more convenient. I like having it on hand because it's simple to use, easy to measure, and works well when I'm making homemade fruit spreads and other recipes that call for a liquid pectin product. The liquid format is probably my favorite feature. It's convenient to pour and measure without having to deal with a powdery ingredient. The consistency makes it easy to incorporate into a recipe, and I appreciate how straightforward the instructions are to follow. I also like the convenience of having a product specifically designed for homemade fruit recipes. Making things from scratch can sometimes involve a lot of preparation and careful measuring, so having a reliable ingredient helps simplify the process. Certo makes it easier to follow recipes without having to make unnecessary adjustments. The packaging is practical as well. The container is easy to handle, and the liquid can be measured without much hassle. I appreciate products that are designed with actual kitchen use in mind, especially when you're working with multiple ingredients at the same time. The results have also been very good for the recipes I've used it in. It helps provide the consistency I'm looking for in homemade fruit preparations, and it has made the overall process feel more predictable. I like being able to make homemade recipes while still having the convenience of a ready-to-use ingredient. Another thing I appreciate is the versatility. It can be useful for a variety of fruit-based recipes, so it's not something that has to sit unused in the pantry after making one particular recipe. If you enjoy preparing homemade jams, jellies, and similar fruit recipes, having liquid pectin available is very convenient. The product also saves time compared with trying to figure out alternative methods for achieving the desired consistency. When following a recipe, I like knowing that I have the appropriate ingredient available and can focus on preparing the fruit and following the directions. For anyone new to using liquid pectin, I would recommend reading the instructions carefully and following the recipe's recommended quantities and preparation steps. With products like this, accurate measurements and proper timing can make a big difference in the final result. Overall, I'm very pleased with Certo Premium Liquid Fruit. It's convenient, easy to use, and a useful ingredient to keep in the kitchen if you enjoy making homemade fruit recipes. The liquid format makes measuring simple, and having a dependable pectin product on hand makes the preparation process much less complicated. I would definitely recommend it to home cooks who enjoy making their own jams, jellies, and fruit spreads. It's a practical pantry item that can make homemade recipes more convenient without adding unnecessary complexity.
Works fine. Pectin can be expensive. Best bang for your buck when making jams using pectin. I have used it extensively. The price is less than other pectins.
This was so easy to use. I have always used the powder form and a different brand. It didn't always work perfectly. Getting the ratio was tricky. Using this Certo liquid. pectin was PERFECT! Having never used liquid I was leery, but there was no need. I made blackberry jelly by following their recipe, and it was excellent. I'll be using this from now on.
This is now the only brand I use for all jelly, jams I make. So easy to use. Powered pectins takes longer to use and I have had bad results with it. I only use the liquid pectin. We h ave two lemon trees and I make a lemonade marmalade that my family and friends rave about. Great stuff.
I have been buying this product for years. Never failed me once. Well maybe, I actually failed my recipe. I eyeballed it rather than temping it out myself. Jammer error! I hear everyone saying that it didn't thicken. For all us jammers we all know you must temp product out even at time of pouring. I also read how people didn't understand the pack?????? It is 2 boxes with 2 pouches. Each box has 6 fl oz. but has 2 pouches. Which means 2 - 3 oz pouches in 1 box X 2 boxes. As shown on the picture Love Love Love this product !!!!
I grew up with family members using certo for jams - now I make and sell jam - so no room for errors! Pectin works perfectly with every fruit I've tried - every time, year after year. My customers keep coming back %26 my friends and family love the jams - so you know it is turning out good. Walmart has the best prices.
I'm a jam maker. I make it and donate it to a NPO in Lawrenceville, GA. Since October, 2020, I've donated nearly 10,500 jars of jam. I use CERTO EXCLUSIVELY in all of my 34 recipes, using 1 1/2 pouches per batch. I had been having great difficulty obtaining CERTO at my local Walmart so I tried "online" instead and was able to get an order of 10, 4-box (8-pouches) packages delivered the next day. Now I call that SERVICE!!!
Great product! Certo makes my jams set perfectly every time. Easy to use, dependable, and worth the price. Highly recommend for anyone who cans or makes homemade preserves.
I had some mint jelly that I made over 3 years ago that just never set up. I did some research and learned that it's a mix of pectin, lemon juice and sweetener. Using liquid pectin worked just great and I am now eating this oldish mint jelly....it has a new life!
Not sure which purchase this review refers to. However, this experience was not satisfactory. I originally purchased the item in store for $8.83. Only to see that on line purchase was $7.67 if purchased online with pickup (at the same store). I returned item and since I stated it was for pickup I had to wait for the same items to return to shelves, me go home, them to pick items back up, text me that my purchase was ready, wait in parking spot and get back the same items back. I'm still not sure how the same store separates and keeps tabs on what items costs less. I'm so glad that shopping has become an economic math problem. You have to figure out what you want to buy and either put it in your cart OR have your cell phone to order and pick up the lower cost later
