Sure-Jell Premium Fruit Pectin for Less or No Sugar Needed Recipes, 1.75 oz Box

I have made 8 batches of apricot jam and it has worked well. Low sugar will not get as firm as the regular pectin. I would use the regular one if you want to use it for sandwhiches. This one is great for toppings, pancakes, waffles, ice cream topping. I did let it cook an extra minute at the full boil and it became a little firmer. I also used the fruit fresh to keep the color of the fruit.

We made strawberry rhubarb low sugar jam with this pectin, and it was delicious! If you've ever had strawberry rhubarb pie, you know what I'm talking about! You get the great taste without all the calories of full sugar!

I really love this product, I have used it multiple times on many different flavors of jam and it always sets up perfectly. I have used other brands when I could not find this one. I've used the liquid in another brand also. I have had issues with it setting up correctly every time I use a different brand. I definitely recommend this brand simply because it seems to never fail!

I love that there is a lower sugar option!! Jams and jellies set just as well as the regular Sure Jell.

works great in any jelly or jam recipe. I use it in all my jelly and jams because I like the taste of the fruit. with the regular ones you use way too much sugar.

I have very limited canning experience. This came with no directions for use. I used 1/3rd of the package to make one pint of wild blueberry jam. I barely brought it to a boil before cooling it slowly. There was very little setting, the result was almost thin enough to pour. In the past I used corn starch for the same thing and it was always thicker than this. No issue with flavor, just not doing as much as expected while costing far more per ounce than corn starch.

I use this product all the time to make jam. It is not the product itself that I have a problem with. It is the fact that I purchased this on February 20th and it had an expiration date of January 11th. I didn't look at the date when I received it and didn't look until I went to use it on March 2nd.

Arrived with a best by date of January 7, 2026 on May 25th, 2026. It was delivered from our local store in NY state. Normally this is my favorite brand to use for strawberry jam.

There are NO directions in the Surejel noxes anymore. This is ridiculous especially with the high price we pay!
