never fails to rise. keep it in the fridge and it'll be faithful. i've made every type of bread using this and it came out amazing every time. sandwich bread, milk bread, rolls, pandoro, anything. much more cost effective than the packets and much more precise. this has become a staple in my house

I prefer this yeast over other brands. It just works better and gives bread that slight hint of yeast flavor that makes breads irresistible. Powerful rise. Easy to measure directly from the jar. Don't forget to refrigerate after opening to maintain the yeasts freshness.

For some unknown reason I got a bee in my bonnet and purchased a Fetervic bread machine from Walmart some months ago. No real need for it... I don't even eat bread that often! But it seemed like a good idea at the time, and I have been a bread making fool since then. I've tried making Portuguese sweet bread, whole wheat honey bread, cinnamon raisin bread, regular white bread, and sourdough bread (got starter from a friend). With absolutely no prior bread making experience I've had fabulous success. This yeast was recommended by my bread expert buddy and has been a part of my journey to bread connoisseur. :D Highly recommend it for fluffy tasty bread machine loaves with a nice crust, that rises as it should.

I recently got into bread baking and found that it is much easier to buy a jar like this than have a bunch of the little packets. Works great for all kinds of bread.

This week tied perfectly! Also I discovered yeast will last well past its expiration date if you store it in the freezer!!

I wish the expiration date was further out. Always check dates, less and less effective as time goes on.

this year is super easy to use and it definitely gives a nice rise to my dough. the size of the jar is good for storage and for making many loaves

I saw another brand costing more and decided to try this one to save cash. This worked beautifully in my bread machine and cranked out a gorgeous and huge loaf of bread.

I dislike nothing about the product. I do, though, have a serious problem with the Walmart delivery people who, EVERY TIME, refuse to deliver the order to my front door as requested. Every single time.

The red star, quick rise yeast was not delivered. It was replaced with active dry yeast, which is not what I requested. I have ordered again the quick rice and instant yeast so let's see what happens. Still no comment about it was being replaced.
