The best whole wheat flour. I ordered one bag a little while ago and we all just loved it. I recently ordered two more bags and i am pretty sure that we will keep ordering Montana whole wheat flour. I highly recommend this product specially to those who are moving towards healthy eating.
It costs a bit more than what I normally buy, but this flour is excellent quality. I make a lot of sourdough for my family, so we go through flour quickly. I typically buy WinCo bulk flour. My local grocery store flour is really nice, a good step up from that, but this kind had my whole family raving! I haven't had the chance to compare it to Kind Arthur flour back to back, but based on my memory they really liked King Arthur, but were just raving about this stuff until it ran out. I'm have to do a back to back comparison sometime. Super light and fluffy. Amazing flour.
This is my first purchase of this brand. It was a substitute for my usual brand of Whole Wheat Flour. I had never heard of it and so I looked up the company and their products. I was pleasantly surprised. Their goals for their products are wonderful. They are very careful with their growing and processing. It is difficult to find flour with unwanted chemicals in their product. Montana Wheat makes a superior product and you can feel secure that you are feeding your family heathy food made from "clean" products. Very well milled and an all around superior product. It works well with my favorite recipes
I like this whole wheat flour for flour needs. I use it especially with my sourdough baking. I have a flour mill, but this flour's quality and price make it easy for me to skip that milling activity. This week I made sourdough loaves, rolls and flatbread.
We like the oat/nut whole wheat bread, so I tried making some and it turned out amazing! There are other wheat flours available, but BIG bonus - this company is in Montana. Even though it is a little more expensive, I think it is worth it.
I wanted to add whole wheat flour to my baking but was quite specific about my requirements. This brand fits the bill - non GMO, Kosher, Glyphosate Residue Free certified G, and grown and milled in the US.
One of the highest protein bread flour available at Walmart. Nice nutty taste, rises decently high, %26 makes a great loaf of bread. Good price value. No-GMO, no additives or preservatives. What more can you ask for?
This flour can highly recommend and I could tell the difference in my baked goods. It's pricey and not something I would use for breading meat or making gravy but definitely my favorite for baking.
The package shows traditional whole wheat but the description in the Walmart listing says "white whole wheat" which is the company's other label. I think the flour must be white whole wheat. In any case, it has no taste, so I suspect that it got into the wrong bag. Pancakes had poor texture and bread did rise well. Lack of gluten? I used to use Wheat Montana ww flour regularly and loved it. This was a great disappointment. In case the company is listening, the batch number is 15325, Best if used by date: 6/2/26
Order was for 7 and initially said I would receive 7 was a charge for all 7 and the text to say I would only receive 3, VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WALMART NEEDS TO GET THIS BACK IN THE STORES!!! 😖 Makes very tasty bread
