I used this pectin powder to make a batch of pepper jelly. It performed exactly as it should, transforming my liquid mixture into a firm, jiggly jelly. The powder itself did not introduce any strange or off-putting flavors, which is a big plus. The final product was a bit too thick, but that was entirely my fault due to user error, not a reflection on the quality of the pectin. It's a reliable product that gets the job done.

Good substitute
I like that this will be a lot more cost effective than the boxes. The direction say to use it in place of the box with the rest of the directions remaining the same but I dont have a box to look at so have to look it up. 4 stars only because it doesnt have good instructions with it.
