Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour, 44 oz Bag

I'm celiac but my wife does the cooking. She's made a special effort to buy products that allow both of us to eat GF foods that are as close to what we were used to before I was diagnosed. This 1to1 flour has been amazing. She simply uses her regular recipes and this flour. Even our non-GF friends can't tell the difference. And these 4 packs of large bags allow her to bake for office functions or get togethers since she's baking for more than the two of us.

Makes THE BEST homemade gluten free bread. pie crusts, cookies, and even cheese or white sauces. Use a recipe specifically for gluten free baked goods, because while this accurately does the "1 to 1 ratio" (same amount of this flour in place of wheat flour), the balance of other ingredients may change to enhance good structure and browning.

Regular customer of this product so I was very happy when I found a good deal on the 4 pack. Ordered for my Christmas baking weekend with my daughters. If you are a regular user of this flour or even a first timer this 4 pack is the way to go. We use it for all our family baking from holiday cookies and treats, to desserts, bread and buns and even our homemade Christmas egg nog cinnamon rolls. We've even used it to make gravy. Anything that is made with flour can be made with Bobs 1 for 1. Bobs really makes being gluten free stress free and effortless especially over the holidays when we worry about making all our favorites. Best part is those who are not gluten free in my home don't even notice a difference. Excellent flavor and I love how I feel after eating baking goods made with Bobs, no heavy belly feeling!

Great 1:1 all purpose flour replacement for those of us who can't have wheat! This flour has done well in all the recipes I have subbed it into. And I found the best price here on Walmart's website. It's pricy, but worth it for gf people needing something baked!

Stopped baking due to Diabetes. Now I have the ability to bake again. It looks like I can bake almost everything I did before with some modest adjustments to the ingredients for the dough.

Can't tell the difference between this and noemal flour, in terms of taste and texture. Doesn't make my stomach hurt, and don't have to adjust any of my recipes for them to come out the same as if they had gluten.

You can't go wrong with Bob's Redmill products… Wanted to try their gluten-free flour. Pretty good… Use it in various recipes and two ingredient pizza crust, and breads. Sometimes mix with some other flowers like chickpea and others… Who said gluten-free isn't fun?.

I'm not a fan of GF baking flour, as contrary to ads, it does NOT perform the same as "real" flour; HOWEVER, we do have a few family members who have gone GF who DO like it a lot, and it's MUCH better than other GF flour brands. I do use it in my multi-grain breads, but they include wheat flour. Our grandkids used to ask why our pancakes are fluffier and taste better than "at home."
