Bob's Red Mill, Quality, Xanthan Gum, Powders, 8 oz Plastic Bag

This is the regular old xantham gum. I was in Publix shopping and couldnt bring myself to pay 30 bucks for this even considering the size. To my surprise it was half the price at Walmart. I was worried it may be smaller or a different brand but in fact it is the same as the one at publix!

Effective thickener for Gluten free baking, This product is tasteless and low in allergy response. Keep tightly sealed in the refrigerator after opening. We are allergic to many of the other thickeners like guar gum. It cause GI upset.

Bob's Red Mill Xanthan Gum is great and plenty of uses for gluten free peeps 🥰

This stuff works great to keep things from separating added just two pinches to my home made hot sauce and no more separating hot sauce with no noticeable change to flavor or even consistency besides the fact that i don't have to shake like crazy every time i want to use it.

I bought this about a month ago have been using a teaspoon of xanthum gum in most gluten-free recipes. It is a great binder. Swanson sells most of the products I need for my baking and the prices are great. Mail order is great. My last order arrived earlier than was quoted! Thanks!

The bag was filled 1/4 the way with product and think the packaging size to product ratio may be slightly misleading. Save some plastic if you're going to skimp and save on product.

350 mg sodium. This is mostly salt. Remember, Sodium is just a component of salt which is Sodium plus Chloride. There is Xanthan Gum without salt and one serving is half a teaspoon. This is 2 Tablespoons.
