Clear, Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane Oil-Based Satin Spray-9181, 11.25 oz

In my book, there is no other. The (oil based) Poly, is the only thing that works as you want it to. Now with that said, you may be spending a littleore time, and money. But trust me it's worth it. the other products, ( mostly mixed) like Poly Stain, Poly acrylics, etc. They do not have the capability of Melding, multiple layers to become one, beautiful, GLASS-LIKE, layer. I do a lot of woodworking, mostly Walkingsticks, now. And the LOOK, CLARITY, and PROTECTION, can not be duplicated. P.S. I would RECOMMEND, the product in a can, and apply each layer by hand with brush. but for quicker applications, the spray can, WILL DELIVER. P.S.S. POLYURETHANE is NOT a One Coat and quit, product. You ALWAYS need to apply, dry, apply, dry, apply, dry. ALWAYS!

It covers evenly and dries fast! I highly recommend it! Price from Walmart was good, and delivery was was fast! I will probably buy again!

Works well. Much better than the brand you previously handled.

This oil-based polyurethane sprayed on smoothly with no lumps or drips and went surprisingly a long way. I bought two cans thinking it would take that much to completely cover a 5' wood bench in several coats, but I was able to spray on three coats with one can and still had some left over. So now I have an extra can that I can use to spray the bench again next year if it needs it.

Great product for protecting wood.

Super easy to use. I used on freshly painted basement concrete floor and stairs and it's super easy to apply. Depending on how big of an area you're needing to spray you may need lots of cans. I used 4 cans which allowed me to apply 3 coatings.

This item is a must have if you have any type of art or wall paint you want to preserve, especially if you have children

Why would I need both clear gloss top coat and polyurethane when I don't hv paint to put gloss on I would not need both anyhow!!
