Worked

Jenn June 26, 2018

Used this in my 16x10 oval above ground pool. Put in the recommendation amount actually made it too high. I'm assuming a bit of my fault I'm rusty at pool chemicals and the last type I had was the much bigger metal sided. So i gave it 5 stars because it did work just too well in my case.

Correcting PH

Hartfisherman July 5, 2017

This product works great. For many years I would allow the PH level to drift below 7.2 and I constantly had issues with algae and chlorine levels. Now a days I make sure I keep the PH level within the correct range. It seems like all other levels are dependent on this one factor. Love this product. Pour it in, wait a couple of hours and recheck. If it is still low pour more in until your final PH level is within the 7.2 and 7.6 range. This product makes pool life so much easier. Attentiveness for Effectiveness

Maddym Hollywood May 21, 2023

So I'm a first time pool owner using Clorox pool products in my 11,000 gallon pool for the first time ever and I'm loving their pool chemicals line. One thing's for certain you most definitely have to be attentive when testing your water and doing your scans. You have to adjust the color on the results from scan to whatever your dipstick is showing at that time and make adjustments according to the chemical suggestions. Now when I first started adding chemicals to my water my levels were zero every single time I tested and couldn't quite out my finger on what I was doing wrong…well when I paid close attention to the suggestions I realized I was putting little to nothing in my water. I ended up needing about 2-2.5lbs of pH up to even make my numbers jump. Ended up liquid chlorinating my pool and everything balanced right out, so if your numbers are off you may need more product. On the Clorox test strips it tells me that my pH is 6.8, but when I use my HTH pool testing kit it tells me that my pH is 7.2 so that's the one I go with. I also had to use several pounds for alkalinity increaser, calcium hardness as well as stabilizer. You really have to pay attention to the chemical suggestions specifically for YOUR pool. These are really great products when used correctly. Right now my pool is sparkling clear and balanced! Couldn't be happier!

Not for SPA's

Miceious April 27, 2017

Product is misleading! It advertises pool and spa however it is specifically for pools only and does not make that clear on the box.
