The XP20R is very versatile. Besides having multiple lighting intensity, it is well built and can be used in different environments . Sometimes using low intensity light is all you need to not give a position away or save you night vision . The highest intensity light is great for finding small or partially hidden objects .The power left indicators help with decisions on the mix of lusage and will keep ou from being left with a depleted light. I would imagine it would be great to use in caves . Or keep in your car to temporally light up a person if they come up to your car . It is a medium sized flashlight and rechargeable. I recommend it .

Sometimes the battery it's hot , everything else it's good

Good bright light. Bonus that it comes with a AAA battery cassette for dual power options. Only shortfall is beam does not get small enough to use for a spotlight at any range.

Great flashlight, just gets really hot to hold sometimes,the way the on button is equipped fumble around in your hand to turn it on, from charging port to on button

Wish the flashlight could go more spotlight. Otherwise very bright.

Bright Flashlight, works intermittently though, and the battery doesn't last very long. I can't say I'd recommend this for camping but maybe for a short term uses it would be okay…. But mine unfortunately was defective so I'm returning it and finding something with good longevity

I will concur with those who have made one of the major gripes. The focus or spot light adjustment is terrible. I would guess at the tightest focus, the spot beam is at least six feet or more across from 15-20 feet away or at least double the size of even my next worse adjustable beam. It does produce good light but does not have a good spot beam so is not good for tight light on objects and in fact I'd rate it poor for that use. Got this for my dad to replace a larger flashlight he lost (which also had much better spot focus) and if it were for me I'd probably return it

battery run time low and been spot not strong enuoght

i paid $62.00 for a $20 flashlight at most. the Focus is horrible at best. a flashlight at that cost should have far higher lumens, a tighter Focus, and larger battery capacity. I feel ripped off honestly.

Light structure is well build however, even if you zoom in all the way it's still a flood light. Would recommend for close up's only.
