I've been looking for a good flashlight for a while. These Bell Howell TacLIghts are great. I love the way the wide beam lights up the area in front of you. They have 5 modes too. Bonus, you can recharge them using a USB cable. No more burnt out batteries!

Bright reliable flashlights that you don't need to worry about dropping. SOS feature isn't mentioned in the TV ads, but is a good thing to have if you're stuck at night.

I bought this for an indoor light mostly for power outages as my only other battery flashlight had quit working. It is lighter weight in my hand since it has no batteries. I like the design since it seems to not immediately roll if I lay it down on a table like other flashlights do. It is advertised as 7000K which just refers to the color of the light. 7000 means it is a bright white tone. It is 500 lumens which I knew was the not the brightest light. If you want brighter, go for more lumens instead. It took a week to get it shipped to me - very slow. I would never have paid the $30 list price on this, but it was on sale for $20. I also REALLY dislike having to click it 5 times from the bright setting to shut it, which means I have to look at blinking lights to get it off. However, I really do not like

this light is very bright and works as described. I do have an issue with the switching between the different types of light (straight, blinking, etc) I find it very aggravating that you have to push the button numerous times to shut it off having to cycle through EVERY light option. should have an option to just turn it on and off period
