Coleman 6-Person Evanston Dome Camping Tent with Screen Room

We will see how it holds up after this weekend of camping on the coast, but I put it up by myself in a wind storm with 21mph gusts. Took me a %23ell of a lot longer than 15 minutes but to be expected for first time and by myself. But I did it! Main tent is no problem at all; went up easily once everything was laid out. It was the %23amn rain fly that takes forever to get on and secured. Of course I tried securing it the wrong way at first so that added some time. Make sure the green is to the front over the screened room to front door portion. I can stand up in the middle fine (I'm 5' 7") and it is very roomy. I haven't put anything in it yet but I bought it for a cross country trip for 3 of us and I feel like we'll be able to fit just fine with our double and single air mattresses and bags. The extra screened porch is a gem for putting a cooler and chair and leaving shoes, etc. in. I can't wait to sit in it this weekend and read a good book! My dog Zilla also approves. ;) I can't speak to the rain yet but will add to this review once I have used it in the rain. Impressed with the hold up in the wind though! One side bowed completely in as I was setting it up, but still held up and like I said, I was able to get everything up and on and secured myself. I would by some extra sturdy tent stakes though, as I used all of them up that it came with plus 4 of my own (heavier duty) stakes. If you use all the tie downs on the rain flap you will use them all. Plus, I had to use 4 to secure a tarp I put down first due to being by myself with the wind. So far so good! Great value!

I wished there were different color options but I went with it and it didn't disappoint. The screen front porch is a nice feature so overall I was happy. It can fit a queen air mattress and a twin air mattress just fine. Plenty of room for the family.

Love the front porch for keeping bugs and mud out of our tent. We do bring a towel along to mop up any rain that collects on it but it's easy to drain if you lift it from the tent side and let it run out the mesh part that is designed to drain.

Great tent, easy to set up. Might be a challenge to do by yourself, because there are only three very long poles used to set it up. Love, love, love the screened in area. Gives you a chance to takes shoes off and get dirt off your feet before stepping into the tent. Plenty of room for the six of us ... two adults and 4 kids (ages 6-13). Lots of ventilation to ensure good airflow.

I can fit a queen size and twin mattress with room for my shoes, clothes, ice chest and chair. The tent can be set up buy one person in about 15 to 20 minutes. The screen room has a floor in it, which helps keep the tent floor clean. The back window is only covered by the rain fly. I camp often and love this tent. I may purchase the Evanston 8 person tent to bring along my extended family.

This is a great tent for the price. It was easy to set up and has plenty of room. My husband and I took it this past weekend and were very pleased with it. The instructions were a bit vague, but we figured it out quickly. The screen porch was just right for 2 chairs. It rained while camping and we were pleased with how well the rainfly did its job. I would recommend this tent to anyone wanting a good tent for a good price.

I have only set this tent up, not slept in it yet, but the size of the screened in area is much larger than the photo suggests. I am looking forward to setting this up and camping for the weekend!!

This tent is a great buy. It is well made, has great air flow, the bottom is made from sturdy material. The porch is the best feature. It was big enough to place two camping chairs and a small trunk. The only two things I was not crazy about was the rain flap not covering the porch entirely, so if it rains everything on the porch would get soaked. The other thing is the seam of the bottom between the porch and the tent appears to be possibly a weak spot. The bottom tarp is stitched so it creates a 2 inch lip all around the tent to prevent water from seeping in ( which is great), however the lip does go all the way around and when you so in and out of the tent you cannot help but stepping on it and I would fully expect the fabric or the stitching to give in after a few uses.

The company (I believe called Packaged Deals) that sells this product will basically harass you through email if there's any reason you need customer service. Terrible communication skills and extremely rude. Will never buy again. Product came an entire week late and then I was essentially yelled at to drop everything going on in my life to ensure I return the item within the timeframe of a week. Horrible. Awful. Harassment.

Never received the item. Ended up missing out on the sale when I tried to reorder it.
