Bought it for a camping trip and use the provided griddle to cook all our meals on. So I didn't need to bring separate pans. I made bacon on it and I would say that the bacon grease spilled over and puddled up by the base of the fire. It didn't affect The cooking at all. We waited till the stove had cooled down and took a moist napkin and wiped up the bacon grease. Overall, super happy with the purchase and I got it on sale for less than $90 at the time. Which I believe is a steal!
My wife and I were camping and had to quickly replace an old (at least 60 years) Coleman stove that had finally quit. I converted it from liquid propane to gas a few years ago, but it had had enough of the camping life. I know Coleman is a great name and reliable so I wanted to replace it with the same. I like the new stove, starts up every time, and serves the purpose perfectly! It's not built as sturdy as the old one, but it seems not many things are anymore! Great buy!
I'm really pleased with this stove. Generous size and flame control from simmer to hot is spot on. I have pic showing the lowest flame. The flame was not even hot enough to heat my cast iron before cooking. (7 minutes) i had turn up the flame to pre heat my cast iron. Pictured are a 9inch and 10 inch, another 10inch and 5 quart Dutch oven. Shown cooking a Bubba Burger. Again 7 minutes each side. - ill be using the 3 in 1 Blue Night stove as a tabletop grill along with my Weber Charcoal grill. Charcoal has gotten so expensive. Spring Summer and Fall I cookout 2-3 times a week.
A nice stove its easy to start. The heavy duty grilling plate is a nice upgrade from my last Coleman stove. Im looking forward to using it for camping this summer.
Satisfaction and Quality is rated a 5, but the price was a little high. I could have bought a similar one a little cheaper, but I satisfied with my purchase.
Love the two burner with griddle! The sides are a bit flimsy but works just fine. Did have trouble starting for the first time but no other issues since!
Bought this for my daughter in case they were to lose power during a recent winter storm. Thankfully she didn't need it, but she's better prepared for the next time.
Gets the job done. Included cast iron skillet is good addition. Good temperature. Exactly temperature control isn't quite there, but this is a pretty standard outdoor grill. For the money, would recommend.
My son gifted this to me for Christmas 2023, and I was not sure when I would ever use it. Fast forward to September 2024. and I used it three times a day for cooking during 9-day power outage after Hurricane Helene. So grateful for the easy start, effective when used in the windy outdoors, and easy to change the cannisters when needed. I bought one for my son's Christmas gift this year; makes a great camp stove and emergency cooking tool.
This Coleman stove is so well designed for convenience. Little did I know when I bought it that we would be without power for sn extended period following a surge that destroyed several appliances in our home. My Coleman has been getting a real workout. I love how easy it is to clean. The removable cast iron grill/griddle is a wonderful addition. The piezo lighter is a nice feature, but you do have to grab the stove when you push the button in because it requires some force and the stove is very light. I think I might just get a fireplace lighter instead. It takes a long time for the griddle to cool down, do if you also need to use the burners, cook on them first. The carry handle on the stove is poorly designed making it uncomfortable to use and somewhat precarious, especially with the griddle inside. The ease of cleaning makes this stove s real winner for me. So, don't let the negative comments I've brought up deter you from buying one for yourself. You may not plan to use it as much as we do, but it sure is great to have if you need to. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.
