Coleman's Mustard is a household staple for us. My husband is English, and having Coleman's in the house is a must—it's the real thing. The flavor is bold, sharp, and full of character, just as it should be, with a heat that clears the sinuses in the best way. A little goes a long way, and it instantly elevates sandwiches, sausages, and roast dinners. If you appreciate traditional English mustard with serious flavor, Coleman's is unbeatable.
I was a bit apprehensive at first about trying Colemans in a plastic squeeze bottle in comparison to there standard glass jar. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no plastic aftertast like in some other different containers that have changed hands over the years. It tastes exactly like the glass jar version with no plastic aftertast. Good job !
An old classic, well worth making a staple for your family. Intensely hot, piquant and able to stand up to whatever else you've got in a sandwich. Once you try it, you'll never mistake it for any ordinary mustard. Standard in England for cheese and pickle sandwiches, but good on anything. Strongly recommended.
Gotta love Coleman's! The flavor is incredible, but do not waste is on slices deli ham. Save it for that hot dog or kielbasa. The price is far too much (used to be $3.69 on the shelf at Walmart) and now it has to be ordered only online (no longer on shelf). I assume the stupid tariffs are what has doubled the price.
Colman's Original English Mustard has become a staple in my kitchen. It has an intense, bold flavor with a spicy kick that sets it apart from other mustards—perfect for anyone who enjoys a little heat! Just a small amount goes a long way, adding an amazing depth to sandwiches, sausages, and marinades. The texture is smooth, and it pairs beautifully with both meats and cheeses. I also love that Colman's has such a long-standing reputation; you can really taste the quality. If you're looking for a strong, traditional mustard with authentic English flavor, this is the one to try!
Colman's Original English Mustard is a game-changer for anyone who loves a spicy kick in their meals! The moment I tried it, I was impressed by its rich flavor and the perfect balance of heat—definitely not overpowering but just enough to elevate my sandwiches and meats. It adds a delightful zing that makes even simple dishes feel gourmet. The smooth texture is easy to spread, and a little goes a long way, making it great value for money. If you're looking to jazz up your meals, this mustard is a must-try!
Absolutely delicious, it leans towards a horse radish taste but has no e in it just pure yellow. it's the best on ham and cheese?
I do love Coleman's Mustard! I even prefer it when I get Chinese takeout! Much better than those packets!!!
Growing up, there was a little yellow tin tucked away in the spice rack that my father brought out once in a blue moon to make his special "too-hot-for-you" mustard for certain meals. My memory of the dry Colman's having more mustard flavor and heat than this bottle checks out, as Dad didn't use much more than water to stir his Colman's powder into, while this prepared mustard includes sugar, salt, and the ever mysterious "spice" or "flavor". Having dunked on this little bottle, it still has hotness and great flavor while also being more bite-y than most USA brands.
Good. A little spicy. VERY small container. More like a trial size. Nice to try something a little bit different but too expensive for what it is.
