I'm blown away by the performance of my Commercial Cool air conditioner during this brutal triple-digit heat wave in California! Despite the scorching temperatures outside, this unit has consistently kept my home at a comfortable 72 degrees. Its impressive cooling power has been a game-changer for my large open-concept living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. I've been amazed by its ability to cool a much larger space than advertised without breaking a sweat. In fact, if I set it to 62, my family would be bundling up under blankets! I can't thank Commercial Cool enough for saving us from the summer heat. This product has truly delivered! the day of this posting was 106 so i had it to 69 it was so comfortable in my house!
Works amazing, energy save mode is pretty awesome too. You can set to cool and it's get the room nice and cool then switches back to auto to keep the room to temp. Would definitely recommend it! Installed in under 10 minutes.
A great buy! Temperature was 98* and humidity was 95% in door. This ac kept our house cooled which is 1400 ' square feet to 74 degrees.
The only thing that the description of this product did not specify exactly is the size of room that it cools reasonably. At least I didn't see it. My AC went down and I had to have something and price was a very integral part of my decision making. I didn't need something too big and the two rooms that I am trying to cool are fairly small. But, the AC that I did have didn't have any info on it and I couldn't research it - it was that old and worn out. So, I took a chance. This one cools and it kind of keeps the 2nd room cool, sort of. It cycles like it should and the air coming out is cold. I would just mention to Walmart that 12,000 btu's does okay for 1 small room, but 2 small rooms would be pushing the point. This is for anyone who needs to know this before purchasing.
Great ac but noisy at full capacity. The problem I had was the shipping. The box and styrofoam were broken and was obviously abused in handling. When I opened it I noticed that the front grille had 1 broken slat. Not enough for me to return it but it was annoying. Otherwise it is a good product.
Never 700 square feet
Bought it less than one month ago and remote stopped working. Black and Decker is out of stock with remotes and said would have to return it to Walmart to get a completely new one. That's impossible as I am in a wheelchair and can't do that. STANDSTILL!!!
I rated it one star because, even though it works well when it works, you should not buy something this expensive and heavy through Walmart online. They seem to have a deal with FedEx, and FedEx is the worst courier I've dealt with. They dropped this 75lb AC on its front edge and delayed delivery 4 times. The front of it was dented inward over half an inch. I managed to bend it back into place a bit, and it still worked, but it only lasted a few days before the fan motor died in it. Any time I've bought something through Walmart, it ships with FedEx and has some kind of delay or they have trouble with the address even though Amazon, UPS, and even DHL (the most infamous for losing things) manages to find the place with how screwed up it is on the maps. My address does show up both on Google Maps and FedEx's Forge Esri GIS Mapping System in the right place, so they should have no problem finding me, but half of them can't read, I guess. Basically, this review is a warning to you, online shopper; don't ship things through Walmart. Try to find the same item on Amazon or eBay (it's usually cheaper, and that includes this exact AC). They both barely ever use FedEx (in fact, FedEx ended their contract with Amazon), so you'll likely get a better delivery experience AND a better price.
I would never buy from the seller again outright lie on the product on the Btu and on the shipping! I would never buy from the seller again and I wouldn't go through Walmart to do it either.
Does this company know the difference between a 14500 BTU AC window unit verses a 14300 BTU window AC unit what the heck y'all need to put the right %23btu y'all are selling instead of misleading the people telling them they are buying one size unit and sending them another size this is bad business y'all need to get y'all's stuff in order and quit misleading the people thinking they are getting one size and sending them whatever y'all want to send them y'all should be taken off all sale sites that y'all sale on until y'all get your stuff in order because sending people just whatever y'all see fit instead of what y'all order because there is a difference between the two ACs y'all sent me y'all lucky y'all got a 1 star from me If y'all would have sent me what I ordered I would have gave y'all a 5 star rating but y'all don't deserve the one star for the way y'all did me and if I would have seen y'all did other people like this I wouldn't have ordered from y'all
