Excellent product. It feels well made, works exactly as expected, and was easy to use. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.”
I purchased this steamer because I had sewed and installed a valance in my living room, and although I had ironed it before installing it, it still didn't look wrinkle free. The valance also has pleats and they weren't crisp enough. This steamer worked like a dream. The attachment for pleats did the job on those too. My valance looks great now. I'm sure I'll use the steamer for clothing as needed also.
This is the steamer that you want! I have had two stand alone steamers, and at least five handheld/travel steamers in the past. This is the best one of ALL! It holds enough water for at least four tops/sweaters before needing refilled. It has a “lock” button that will keep the steam flowing so you don't have to continually press anything for it to work. If you prefer to have control over when the steam comes out, you just don't press the “lock” button. I must say it is a little heftier (weighs a bit more) than past handheld steamers, but it is so well worth it. This steamer is better than any other steamer I have used. The amount of steam that comes out and the design of the head makes getting wrinkles out more quickly and with less effort than any other model I have used. I am so happy with this steamer, I will probably never get out my fancy floor model again! Highly recommend!
I don't think I will go back to an iron again. It takes a little longer than I would like for it to heat up but it still heats up as fast as an iron(if not faster). It works on any material because it's just steam. It's great for when your running late in the morning. You also do not have to go over the area more than once. It get's the wrinkles & creases out on the first try. I have not used the attachments yet & I have not needed to make a crease yet either. It works great on the low heat setting for 100% cotton material items. I love steam heat!
This thing is a lifesaver. I honestly and truly dislike ironing my daughter's uniforms. They are so tiny. I loathe the mini arm holes and the tiny buttons and everything that comes with making her uniforms look spiffy short of spending a fortune dry cleaning them. I love this steamer. It handled the wrinkles better than I did with any iron and it was easy to do while the uniform was still hanging up after I picked up for the eighth time off the floor where it mysteriously appeared for some reason. It handle the blouses, the skirts, the skirts, the pants, and even the jumpers. Did I mention that ironing uniforms is not my favorite thing? The steam is hot. My older daughter was using it to steam her shirt and got a little too close to the fire/smoke alarm and set it off. The warnings on the nozzle are there for a reason. It is seriously hot. My fiance has taken a liking to it using it to give his work shirts a quick go over before he leaves. I got it for me but obviously everyone else seems to be using it to. I'm happy as long as I don't have to iron tiny uniforms.
I purchased the steamer mainly to get the tint off my car windows. It really worked. Also works well on clothing. It's a little heavy, but going by looks I thought it would be lighter. It's easy to hold, fill with water, and use the button. Very happy with the product.
I would have given this a 5 star rating except that it's my 2nd purchase of the same product. I bought one a couple of years ago and it worked great at the beginning. Then I didn't use if for awhile. When the need came to use it again, the unit never heated up and there was never any steam. I was hesitant to buy another one of the same brand but I thought perhaps it was lack of use that was the culprit. Plus it did get good reviews from other purchasers. So I bought another one and so far it has worked fine. I have used it 5 or 6 times but over a short period of time. So I'll reserve final judgement until I see how long it actually lasts. Here's hoping.
The reason for the 4 star is because this does not have an on/off switch. This product needs this, but other wise it really heats up in a few seconds and I have used it to steam my couch pillows and my piano runner and these items smelled so fresh and clean afterwards. It has a high and low steam, which I like and one can lock it for constant steam. I will be steaming my mattress and pillows from now on.Just a great product for me!
Good steamer overall. The water tank is a bit small. I have to refill the tank for every garment that I steam. It is written on the tank to use distilled water only! I have no access to distilled water. The plastic material is a bit cheap, it changed color since the first use. Not heavy and easy to carry, but because it has no flat bottom, it is a bit awkward placing it in the floor mid use when I'm refilling the tank.
I was pretty excited to test this. I hate ironing and I have kids so I'm constantly forgetting I have clothes sitting in the dryer so we totally get wrinkles. The reservoir holds enough water that I can get through all my wrinkly clothes. It does heat up pretty quickly. It's nice that there is a green indicator light. It's a bit heavy. You're supposed to hold it an inch away but my problem is I don't feel like that does enough and find myself a little closer. I feel like it does release wrinkles to the point where you don't have to iron but it still leaves behind evidence of deeper creases. The nice thing is it doesn't ruin the shirt like ironing over some bad creases does if you do it wrong. I just was hoping for more wrinkle release. When you lay it on it's sode in between it does let out a few huff and puff sounds but I didn't notice steam coming out. If I was totally against getting the iron out I would reach for this instead but if I need all the wrinkles out completely, I wouldn't. I could tell a difference in before and after though!
