Love it, It gets hot enough to stream one time going down in one straight location then cover the garment in about 10 minutes without ny strain on my shoulder.
I love my new steamer! I have always dreaded ironing my clothes. I avoid it at all cost because it was so much work and heat. Now with this new Conair steamer I can't wait to take out the wrinkles off my clothes and steam my curtains and sofa. I love how easy and simple it was to assemble and begin using. The directions come in a small, easy read pamphlet. It is easy to turn on, off, and pause with the push of one button. The water container is easy to remove and place back. It takes one minute to start steaming which is awesome. Overall, it just makes life easier to look nice. I highly recommend this product to everyone that needs or likes to look clean and neat.
The Conair GS28 Ultimate Fabric Steamer works amazing! It saves so much time and money on dry cleaning. My husband always has so many dress shirts that we normally have to take to the cleaners to be pressed often. Now we have the ability to steam them right at home and it takes less that 3 minutes to do an entire shirt. The wrinkles fall out so quickly and easily. Makes laundry day mush easier for me. The temperature is high enough to kill and eliminate bedbugs around the home as well. Also works for eliminating dust mites. The tank is large capacity so there's no need to keep filling the tank back up with water. It heats in less than a minute and works excellent.
I think this product is made nicely. It does not need chemicals, just simply add water. It has a nifty rotational hanger to hold your clothes while steaming the wrinkles out, also has some handy clamp like clothes pins to keep your pants pulled tight while steaming. The pole everything hangs on is telescopic, so you can maneuver the height of your working area. Offers 90 minutes of steaming from one tank of water. Very nice item IMO. 5 STARS

I love it. Cuts out ironing time and bending over.
Steamer works great and is what I expected. I got this type so I could hang clothing from it to steam but also used it on my curtains. Only downfall there is that the hose wasn't long enough to reach so I had to set it up on a table. Works good so far!
Works pretty good. Gets very hot. Wish there was a way to stabilize clothes, like tops so they wouldn't move so much while steaming. It has clips to hold pants in place, and that works okay, but you still have to hold them some, to keep them from moving. I found it better to steam tops from the inside so they can lay against the steam handle while sliding it down the length of the top, while holding each edge of the top. This provides a little resistance. Overall, it's very different from ironing, but a lot quicker and it does take a little time getting used to... especially so you won't burn yourself. :-)
For me, this fabric steamer is about making my job as a mom that much easier. It's about working smarter, not harder. Most clothes my family wears is able to be folded right out the dryer and put away. Pulling the clothes from the dresser reveals a shirt or pants that, though not creased, are neat looking. There are, however, some clothes that could use a hot press and could benefit from a flat, crispy edge or super flat look. This is where this tool comes in. I wanted to know if this was going to make my task of keeping my family's clothes looking nice without extra hassle. Is this steamer better than a traditional iron? Here's my personal comparison: With an iron, I need an ironing board, ironing board pad and cover, an iron, and a water mist spray bottle or spray starch for extra crispy edges. With THIS steamer, all I need is the steamer, of course, and distilled water. Some steamers don't come with a garment stand, but this one does, which is super convenient. Storage for an iron is a place to set it and a place for the folded ironing board, usually a corner in a closet. With this steamer, I just need a place for the steamer and gallon of distilled water, which also can be stored in a closet. With an iron, I lay my plants or shirt on the board a certain way and change it around based on which part of the clothing I am looking to press and/or crease. Repeat this process multiple times until the entire garment is pressed. With THIS steamer, I just place my shirt on the 360 degree rotating garment hanger or pant clips and rub the steamer against my clothing. With an iron, you can use spray starch to get the ultimate pressed look. This is great for business and professional settings. I would say that this steamer is, at this time, better for my family, than a traditional iron. It doesn't require as many steps. It is appropriate for the types of clothes we wear, and I think it would work really well with refreshing coats and other garments that we don't wear all year long. I feel like operating this steamer would be easier for my husband and teens to use versus an iron. I will still keep my iron for those special occasions, but I can see using this because it's convenient to use and won't cost that much more of my time or energy to use. It heats up (steams) in about a minute. The water tank has a handle which is very convenient and it can hold almost a gallon of distilled water. The water hose is covered by a removable fabric. You can feel the warmth through the hose, but it's not so hot that you can't touch it. The cool-touch handle really is cool to the touch and my hands feel protected from the steam.
Seems to leak if water is still in it a few minutes after shut off - always have a puddle I waited too long to open and give this its first use after getting it for a gift .works nice otherwise.
