Corningware French White 2.5 Quart Oval Baking Dish with Glass Lid

The Corningware Oval 2.5 Qt., French White is a perfect replacement for an old one that was chipped and scratched. It was time to replace the one I used for decades. Corningware brand offers a long lasting quality in overall cookware. I especially recommend the 2.5 qt. oval size for long shaped roasts sliced for families to bring to the table as well as for storing leftovers in the fridge. Potato casseroles bake nicely and are presentable in special occasions.

This seems the perfect size especially for a holiday gathering for a sweet potato casserole, or any casserole serving 6-9. It's quality built, heavy, and goes from refrigerator to oven or microwave. Heats uniformly. I have 2 of this same casserole dish.

My daughter-in-law received a casserole dish for her shower gift 20 years ago and it broke. She was saddened about this. I went on Walmarts site and found the exact dish at a very reasonable price. I quickly ordered it and the next day it was ready for pickup.

i had an issue with your spark driver. she had almost no knowledge of the english language. i could not understand her. she could understand enough english to enter a gate code to my subdivision. i had to text her to get her to get in the gate and make the delivery

I recently dropped and broke my 30 year casserole and was concerned that a new model would be of lower quality. However, this oval casserole was a pleasant surprise - exactly like my old Corningware.

I gave a three star rating due delivery of the item not the item itself. I will not order from Walmart again. My address was clearly listed and the driver dropped it off at a house because that is where the google map said to drop it. The driver paid no attention to the address on the package. They did this twice.

I did a review on the 1.5 qt casserole dish so I am just going to say this is the same. It's a good buy but not as sturdy as the one I had. Corning Ware has cheapened their product as with so many companies do. It's all about the bottom line and no longer about quality of the product. It's less expensive than many so it's up to you as to whether you want to spend your hard earned money on this.

I really don't like this casserole dish. The lid really doesn't fit properly and it's hard to take out of the oven because there is not a lip on the edges. I could see me dropping it. Unfortunately I can't return it because I got rid of the packaging. So disappointed in Corningware.

This Corningware has NO Handles. It is very difficult to take it out of the oven when hot with the glass cover sliding around. I would find a casserole dish that has handles. It does cook a roast very well, but cumbersome when trying to take out of the oven. Come on, Corningware, stop cutting corners for gain.

I never got the product so who knows if it meets quality standards. I would have been fine with it not being available for delivery, I understand. What I do not understand is accepting a delivery order and then having it go missing with no one but AI will to follow up.
