CorningWare French White 2.5-quart Round Baking Dish with Lid

Had one from years ago, but it fell and shattered. This was great and does the same job as the one I had.

I'm a bit of an old fogey and would have preferred th originals style with straight sides, rather than this curved lip. The lid seems flimsy; not the chunky, heavy top that made the earlier 2.5qt seem more rugged.

Great for cooking and serving.

I got this mainly to make a large chicken pot pie, but I've already used it for much more. The style is timeless and classic and I know I'll enjoy using it for years to come. I like the weight of it.

This is a very nice piece of Corning Ware. I use it in the microwave and it performs well. My only complaint is its weight that makes it a bit dicey to get into and out of my over-the-stove microwave.

Great product!

The round version fits my microwave much better and turns nicely. I bought the same sized 1.5Q oval version first but it wouldn't rotate on the turntable completely in my average sized microwave. I can fit almost a 1 pound pack of spaghetti in this dish, but the whole package is just a little too much. Without the handles that the oval model has the dish gets pretty hot and requires pot holders to remove immediately. The see through lid is quite legit.

Very disappointed in this corning ware. I ordered the 2.5 quart Corningware to replace one I broke. The one I received had a very similar ceramic dish, but the LID WAS SO CHEAPLY MADE! It's a LOT thinner and not nearly as heavy duty as the old style. It has a white handle and I know this lid won't last nearly as long as the original style. Big disappointment since the picture above shows the old original styling, and the one I received is not anything like it!

My old 2.5 quart Corningware casserole dish broke so I sought to replace it. Other listings showed a modern stylized lid and slightly different shape than my old casserole, but the photo that WalMart showed looked the same as my old one. Unfortunately, the casserole dish that was shipped was what I was finding on other sites, not what Walmart represents in its picture.

Love Corningware! However, the item I got was the newer version with the thin glass cover and white handle not the full glass sturdy lid as pictured. Very disappointed. Returned!
