Granite Ware 10 lb. Capacity 15 in. Covered Oval Roaster, Speckled Black Enamel on Steel

This 18 inch roasting pan with cover was very well packaged, arrived quickly and is as described and pictured. It is a very large pan, more than big enough for a chicken, more like for roasting a small turkey. It seems to be very good quality, the lid fits well and very reasonable priced. However, I think it is too big for my purposes so will take it to Walmart for a return and get a smaller size roasting pan just like this one..

I love this item! I recall my Mom using one for cooking beef roasts, with potatoes and carrots and onions surrounding it and, because my former one was 'lost' somewhere in boxes in our garage, I decided to replace it with this one and I am very happy with it!

We bought this just before thanksgiving and I could not be happier with it. We had an 18 pound bird that still managed to fit inside here and still seal up good. The bird came out amazing and right on time. This pan was a savior and well worth every penny.

A purchased for cooking and roasting chicken. This is much better than using the aluminum pans. I've cooked several 6lb chickens now in my oven. The lid will slide down into the food so be careful when dealing with hot liquids. The double handles make picking up the pan easy. Quality product.

I always used my granite roaster, through the years. Now that my Grandaughter is getting married soon, I thought it was time to pass on the tradition

Opened my package and saw bits of the coating inside the box. The roaster was shipped with no protective covering. Received with a bent and chipped handle.

Used it once, on 350 degree oven temp, with lid on. After washing it 3 times (have to let it dry to see it) there is still some residue where the top of the meat touched the sides of the roaster.

It arrived damaged with a crack in the granite that creates a sharp imperfection that you can cut your hands on. Also, that area will likely rust quickly. The 'granite' material is very thin, so it has to be handled with care. There was no cushioning inside the shipment box at all, no packaging peanuts, no bubblewrap. Walmart is notorious for poor packaging and not using adequate packaging materials to protect items they ship so I order things that have to be shipped as infrequently as possible, because their shipped items have a very high chance of arriving damaged. I would like a replacement, but I don't have a working printer to print out the required return label, and refunds are so very inconvenient because they take about 10 business days to be credited back to your card so that you can get your funds back to repurchase. A return shipping label should be included in the package because not everyone has printers at home to print out labels, and a lot of people who use shipping and delivery service options do so because they do not drive and in store shopping and returns is not an option. So I'm stuck with a damaged item for now.

I gave a low rating because it was dented and chipping! I got it at a great price, too! I've always wanted one but was too cheap to buy one. When I saw this on sale, I grabbed it immediately. When I went to make the turkey, I noticed it was dented and peeling.

The box arrived, it had been opened and cooker was damaged; it had been dropped and chipped on lid and rim of pan
