Will not punch a hole in can
This is hands down the best can opener I have ever used. It is heavy duty and sturdy. It is not made of cheap plastic like some other ones I have tried. This can opener has some weight to it. It cuts open a can like a hot knife through butter without any effort. It doesn't get caught sticking on the can where it will no longer cut. The knob twists very smoothly making it easy to turn. The rubber/silicone material on the handles makes it easy to grip and hold onto. I cannot recommend this enough for easy can opening.
I love the soft grip on this can opener. The turn knob is substantial in size making it easier to hold and twist. So far it opens really well. I was not familiar with the Craft Kitchen brand but I will definitely consider checking out more of their products.
This is a nice can opener. It glides across the can and is very smooth while cutting. The turn handle is nice and large and easy to grip for older hands. The handles are nice and have a grip kind of material. I dont know how to explain it, but they are easy to grip. The opener seems to be made well. I have to buy 2 of these a year. Maybe this on will last awhile longer.
This can opener is not electric, but I actually like it better than an electric can open. The grip is very comfortable on your hands and it works super easy. The blades work as smooth as silk. It is easy to store in a drawer, so need to worry about taking up counter space. Is metal and heavy duty as well.
I recently bought a new can opener (a popular well-known brand) and it was so hard to use. I thought all can openers were the same. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I used the Craft can opener and it was very easy to use...almost effortless. It must be because the blade is sharper or something, but it's like cutting through butter. I highly recommend this can opener and now I know what a good can opener feels like, it shouldn't be a struggle/fight with the can. It should be easy and that's what I got with this can opener.
Lightweight but strong, and comfortable grip. Opens the can from top with a few quick turns of the knob, gentle on fingers and joints. Does the job in one round without missing any points, nice clean edge. Compact, hand powered which makes it easy to take or store anywhere. Yes, I recommend. It's a can opener, works just as it should.
I just love this Craft Kitchen Soft Grip Black Can Opener. The ease of opening a can with minimal pressure it was a breeze. I really love the style and the way it looks. The style is very impressive. The black and silver goes with any decor. I think the company initials look pretty cool too. I plan on buying and giving these as a gift in a house warming package I just know they gonna love it.
This is the can opener I should have gotten ages ago. In the past year I have gone through 3 or 4 cheapies from the dollar store. It has a lifetime warranty! It works so good, and the padded handles feel so good to my old hands. I plan to give a couple more as a useful gift because it is packaged so well and looks so expensive. This is quality.
I got three can openers. I used one to open a can of chicken broth, and the holes punched are not very near the rim, which was surprising and a little disappointing, but even worse, after making one punch hole, I found that I could not use that can opener again to make a second hole without getting a pair of pliers and bending it back into the original form, which the opener lost in the first punch. This is even worse than the one that I had before which required such repairs only after several months of usage. I wouldn't recommend this product to an enemy, much less a friend or relative.
