CryoMAX Medium 8-Hour Reusable Cold Pack Therapy

I purchased these for hernia operation. They can stay on for a long time without switching them off and on. They definitely stopped the swelling. The strap is a great invention to add to this product. The fabric bag that fits the ice bag into has a strap. You won't get frostbite, but will reduce the swelling. The strap is really great. You can strap it on under your pants and walk around and it will stay in place. I could not find these anywhere except at walmart.com. And they are worth at least twice the value. My only recommendation would be to buy two or three at a time I bought two and it works great.

I've bought these for years and for a few years, I couldn't find them. When I found them again, I bought 4 of them. This first time I bought them, they lasted like 10 YEARS, but the quality now is not the same! within one month, one was already leaking, and I'm disappointed in that. But, other than that one, I am very happy with them.

This is perfect for my foot after bunion surgery but it's pretty big and very heavy. I thought it was going to be smaller than what it is. But it does stay cold for a long time and after 15-20 minutes I have to take it off too cold lol so I can't complain too much

I purchased this while a patient in a inpatient rehab following total knee replacement surgery. Did not find their disposable packs effective for pain relief and swelling, so ordered from my local Walmart and they delivered to my temporary address without a hitch. Though I didn't quite get 12 hours , the 7 to 8 hours effective relief was far better than the half hour with the disposable packs. home now, and doing great! Glad to have this in my arsenal.

I had two of these before and the last a very long time, and I have back problems. I let somebody borrow them and their dog got a hold of one and destroyed it, and I didn't know about it. And so I ordered another one. I recommend these to everybody that says they need to buy ice packs.

They say it keeps cold for 8 hours. I have used this multiple times and it does not, unfortunately stay cold no more than a couple of hours. The frozen bags don't fit very well inside of the cotton bags that are included. All in all I would recommend this product.

I got this because it said it would stay cold for 8 hours. I knew better, but purchased anyway. Well, it says in the pamphlet inside of the box "unlikely to stay cold for 8 hours if not refrozen in between uses." But it is an icepack that has a sleeve that you can use to strap on and remain in place.

They claim this item stays cold for longer periods… on the box… then when you open it it says something different. That was my first disappointment. But I put it in its little sleeve (that seems to be a tad too small..) and put it in the freezer. Let it freeze overnight… was excited to use it tbh. Just had surgery and ice packs are my best friend… well jokes on me.. you can not feel anything through the pouch/sleeve. Second disappointment. That's enough for me. Would return if I hadn't thrown the box away already. Save ya money :)

I don't understand how this is getting good reviews. This comes with a soft cover that you put the ice pack in. Once inside I can't feel the cold ice pack at all. No cool feeling is coming through the cover. I've left my ice pack in the freezer for several days before first using it too. How others are making comments about how good it is, is confusing. When the ice pack is outside the cover, it's great. Doesn't last 8 hours though because that's not how it is suppoased to be used. It's suppoased to be used with the cover. Which doesn't transmit a cold feeling at all.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you enjoy an ice pack that lasts less than 30 minutes. I can only come to the conclusion that if you were in antartica is the only way this lasts 8 hours. I was fooled by the high price into thinking it would last that long but don't do it! You'd be just as good getting a freezer bag and filling it water.
