C&S Berry Suet Treat 11.75 Ounces 8 Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This birdseed is the easiest thing ever! I love that it comes in these solid little bricks that I can just drop into the birdfeeder. They actually have a variety of flavors, but this particular one is the berry flavor. I have noticed cardinals, and wrens in my backyard eating it! A tip for you is to refrigerate the brick before opening it so that it will not get messy on your fingertips. It just would solidify the oils so that it isn't so messy. I will continue to keep them in stock!

While Tractor Supply has much better suet, I often buy this 8-pack because it's easy to have suet delivered right to my doorstep. It melts when its very hot (100s). White-winged Doves, starlings, mockingbirds, cardinals, chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, and squirrels love it!

My bird families love the suet. I have woodpeckers who wait for it every day; I have mockingbirds that only get the suet, they do not eat bird seed but they will come and get the suet. My cardinals, blue jays, crackles, brown thrush, starlings, and even the crow will now and then dive into it, when there is nothing else. Attracts birds that don't eat seed, but will get a mouth full of the suet. They like all the flavors.

I have several suet feeders, and I have used many different brands of suet cakes in them. These are by far the fastest to be consumed by the birds. These cakes have a thick layer of rendered beef suet as well as a mixture of corn, millet, oats and blueberries The birds can consume an entire cake in one day and actually compete with each other to take their turn at the feeder. The cakes are individually wrapped and come in a single box of 8 cakes or a three-box pack of 8 cakes in each. I am happy as long as the birds are getting some much-needed nutrients.

I buy in the 9 pack boxes. It's a better value than buying separately. Place it in a square suet feeder. Watching the variety of woodpeckers is entertainment for us and our friends. Many other birds enjoy this suet also.

The birds liked it, but summer is the wrong time of year for this. It got soft and the fruit attracted beesxand wasps. I'll probably use it in the fall and winter. I'll keep using the no melt peanut suet in n summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tested the product for 3 days and I quite disappointed. There're many bird on the trees next to my apartment, so I put the bird food next to the tree to attract more birds, so my son can see them eating. Unfortunately, when I go check it, the food has not been touch. 2 days later, the food stays the same. I dont know why they did not like the food, maybe because of the oil texture? I'm not sure.

First time buying this “flavor” and will probably be a hit with the birds but it seems like the suet layer has separated like it's iced the cake. It was also softer than others I've purchased. In fairness I only started feeding suet to the birds this past winter. They have really enjoyed suet. I added a new feeder that they seem to eat even faster from this location. Hope this block holds together long enough for them to eat it.

When I purchase the suet individually in the store, the quality of the suet is much better. I'll try to remember to only purchase these directly at the store.

Suet cakes were marketed as no melt-its so soft it was hard to get in the holder and just would get softer and softer and in just about 2 days be done!
