Keeps coffee hot

Janeleslie October 31, 2025

This is awesome. It keeps the coffee hot and the best part of the carafe. It's not glass. I cannot tell you how many glass carafes I've broken and had to replace the entire coffee maker because they don't sell replacements.

Love the thermal carafe

Paula D. December 14, 2025

I prefer a thermal carafe to a glass coffee pot, to avoid that burned coffee taste. I love my Cuisinart thermal, and just bought my second one.

Quality and performance

Maggiemagpie March 16, 2026

I bought this coffeemaker 10 years ago and decided to replace it with a new one exactly the same because I love how it performs. I grind fresh coffee beans and make a 12 cup thermos everyday for my husband and I. The best part of this product is how warm it keeps the coffee without burning it. It shuts itself off and the thermal carafe does the rest. I do have to say that the new one is lighter in heft and does not keep the coffee as warm (by almost 2 hours) as the old one. I don't always drink my second cup in the morning and like it mid afternoon. I would still highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee! Thank you.

Nice but doesn't keep coffee warm

Anonymous February 18, 2026

Ordered this one to replace my other Cuisinart that quit percolating on me. Bought the stainless steel carafe thinking it would keep my coffee warmer throughout the morning, but alas, the unit kicks off immediately after brewing. Have to nuke every cup of coffee unless I prewarm the carafe with super hot water before starting . Other than that it brews a nice cup & looks great on my counter😂

Great tasting coffee, but.

Scott Davich June 15, 2026

This is our third Cuisinart coffee maker. They make the best tasting coffee, of any of our other coffee makers. The problem is they last about two years then start to leak. The first time it ruined the wood floor, which took work to repair. They sent a replacement which also started leaking in less then two years. Luckily I spotted it leaking before it could cause major problems. We switched to a different brand but the taste wasn't as good. We purchased this one and moved it to the basement, a bit of a hassle, but when it starts to leak it can't hurt anything.

Disappointed

Psusan January 12, 2026

I received this as a gift, I feel it's too heavy and I don't like that you cannot see what's left in the pot.

Doesn't keep coffee hot

AZ Mountain Girl November 22, 2025

I bought this thinking it would keep my coffee hotter than my glass carafe coffee maker. Because the glass carafe sits on a heated element, and this does not, the glass carafe actually keeps coffee hotter than this thermal carafe. I tried preheating the thermal carafe with hot water but coffee still starts getting cold as soon as it is done making the coffee.

Try another

Randi B December 4, 2025

This coffee pot looks pretty with its stainless carafe, but the cup measurement doesn't pan out. If i make 4 cups, I get 1.5 . I need to figure out how much coffee is needed because so far I use 1 scoop (provided) per cup and it's way too strong because it actually makes fewer cups than I measure the water for.

Disappointed in Usability of this Model

LynnC August 23, 2025

I've had two Cuisinart thermal coffeemakers over the last 20+ years. Can't recall why the first one had to be replaced, but its replacement was an identical twin. They were perfect. We decided to get another Cuisinart coffeemaker to give some flexibility. (Older one still works.) We're disappointed in the new one: --Have to be extremely careful when pouring from the carafe--it drips as the pour begins and again afterwards if the pot isn't held very, very carefully. --When I open the top to remove the brewing basket after brewing, water spills down the back of the unit. There's a lip there to try to catch it, but the lip isn't adequate to catch the amount of water that has condensed inside the lid of the coffeemaker. This is a corrective action that doesn't get the job done. --I can no longer brew the coffee on the part of my kitchen counter that has a cabinet above--the steam from brewing is aimed straight up, so it would condense on the upper cabinet if I don't move the coffeemaker to the front of the counter. In a nutshell, this coffeemaker is so inconvenient to use compared to the model that it replaced. It does make good coffee, but it is not convenient to use.

Poor pour!

Lisa Y October 13, 2025

Quality of coffee maker is good but design of coffee pot is bad! Hard to pour out of, must turn pot totally upside down to empty. A carafe shape would be much better.
