I've been extremely impressed with this Cuisinart electric kettle. From the moment I took it out of the box, the design stood out—sleek, modern, and well-built. The backlit color feature is a great touch and makes it easy (and honestly enjoyable) to use, especially early in the morning or in low light. Performance-wise, this kettle is excellent. It heats water quickly, consistently, and quietly, which is exactly what I want. I use it daily for my French press, and it delivers perfect results every time. The temperature control is accurate, and the kettle feels solid and safe to handle. What I appreciate most is that it combines great looks with great functionality. It's not just something that works well—it's something I actually enjoy using and having on my counter. This has easily become one of my most-used kitchen appliances, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone who values quality, performance, and good design.
My husband surprised me with this electric teapot, for Christmas. Wow I got something I love i drink so much tea everyday. Besides the name Cuisinart great company all my kitchen appliances are Cuisinart. This teapot brews with consistency the perfect cup of tea. No more waiting for a traditional teapot to boil, cuisinart is quick and has a keep warm feature.
We love our perfect temp cordless Cuisinart kettle. We use it daily. It is so helpful to be able to select different water temperatures. Why waste energy bringing to a boil and waiting for the water to cook when you can go straight to what you need. And it takes up a small amount of space in our tiny kitchen.
I've been using the Cuisinart Perfect Temp Electric Kettle for a bit now and I honestly really like it. The temperature settings are my favourite feature. It's nice being able to pick the right temperatue depending on what tea I'm making. The kettle also feels nice and sturdy, not flimsy like some cheaper kettles. The handle is comfortable and it pours cleanly without spilling. Overall I'm really happy with it. If you drink tea a lot, it's definitely worth it.
Easy to fill. Heats quickly. Pours easily. Great quality product that looks really nice in our kitchen.
My daughter-in-law from Japan explained to me that different teas require different brewing temps. Following a lot of guess work with my whistling tea pot for brewing green tea, I spotted this kettle on the internet and have been totally pleased. It looks great on my counter, functions perfectly, is well manufactured and not only lets me brew at the correct temp, but also conveniently re-fill the pot for the afternoon dividend, again at just the right temp. Fast, precise and convenient at a reasonable price. Definitely stands out above the low-end, budget priced offerings.
I bought this kettle to replace my previous PerfecTemp Cordless Kettle that I've had at least 10+ years only because the plastic water level window was getting so yellowed I had a really difficult time seeing the water level when filling it. (Think yellowed old car headlights.) My old kettle works just fine, I'm keeping it as a backup or I'll give it away. The new one I got in white which I love, it matches my other kitchen appliances. I'm hoping the new one will last me another 10-15 years. I've tried other brands but they're not as good as this one made by Cuisinart. They'd leak and they didn't have the "keep warm" feature. I use it every morning for my tea.
Heats up water just fine. If only it would just last longer than a couple of months. Both units (same model) had issues—The first one had burnt out in <a year, the second one had bad spout joints (leaking) and the lid wouldn't open.
We bought this kettle to replace our old electric kettle, which we use a few times a day to make tea. We were initially pretty happy with it - the side indexing is easier to read, and the lower control panel keeps your hands away from the pot except when you're actually pouring. But after less then 5 months of service it died – put the pot back on the base after pouring water, and it was completely dead. The base lights up, and you can select (say) boil, but the kettle no longer gets hot and eventually times out with a beep and shuts itself down. Note that there was enough water to cover the temperature sensor in the pot when I first put it down, so this wasn't boil-dry protection kicking in (and that's pretty obvious). No leaks that I've been able to see since it died.
Leaked and was inoperable within one week. This is my 3rd unit of this and it died fast.
