I've struggled with coffee makers for years until now. Previously owned machines maybe the first cup was hot but after that warm at best. The Brew Central has a setting which enables the coffee to remain hot up to 4 hours and it does!!!! I made a pot the other day, had a cup and then left for an appointment leaving the machine on. Came back 90 minutes later, poured another cup and it was just as hot as my first cup 2 hours earlier. Best machine I've ever owned
I do love this machine. We are coffee people and this is our second Cuisinart coffee maker. It keeps the coffee hot and that is important to my husband. The only thing I would change would be take the water measuring marks easier to see. Our coffeemaker is under a cabinet so we have to angle it to see the markings.
This is my 3rd cuisnart coffee maker in the last 25 years. Make 1-2 pots daily and it lasts 10 years plus. Great value
My Cuisinart Coffee Maker is easy to use and always makes a great cup of coffee. The timer is awesome to be able to set the night before. Heating pad keeps the coffee hot after it is brewed.
We been using my Mother's Crusinart coffee maker since she passed away 6 years ago. She had her Cruisinart Coffee Maker for at least 10+ years prior to her passing. It finally gave up the ghost after Christmas. Having such a good run with the Cruisinart brand, we decided to stay with them and purchase a new 12-cup Crusinart Coffee maker and we are plumb tickled with it. It makes the best coffee and performs flawlessly. What a great way to wake up to the smell of freshed brewed coffee.
I have been using this beauty for almost three weeks now and I can safely say that, it is undoubtedly, the best coffee maker I have ever owned, hands down! It is probably the most expensive, but well worth the few extra dollars I spent on it, for certain. I don't think I have ever had a tastier cup of coffee, even in a nice resturaunt! It loads easily, fills with water easily, cleans up easily, is easy to operate and has many more choices for brewing than most coffee makers. Three hot plate temperature settings, which is awesome as you pour more cups out of the carafe - you can lower the temp, so as not to scorch what's left! It also has a 1-4 cup setting to alter your brew rate for smaller pots... another really nice touch - I just used it yesterday for my wife, as I had to rush out to a Track Championship for one of my granddaughters, without coffee!!! YIKES! My best advice... don't be afraid to spend the few extra dollars - YOU WILL NOT be disappointed. This baby is AWESOME!
Great coffee maker , I've had this brand forever !
Great offer maker! Makes the coffee every morning with the built in timer. It's simple and does the job b
I am giving this 4 stars. It makes a great cup of coffee and keeps it hot until you turn it off. It is pretty simple to use. I do not keep it plugged in, so have not set the clock or the timers. I just plug it in when I make a pot and keep any extra in the fridge to use for ice coffee or just reheat. I also got it on sale. These are the good things. Here are a couple I am not so fond of ~ It does not make a full 12 cups (plus water for 12 cups) without spitting grounds all over the inside of the pot. It took me forever to clean up the mess it made the first time I used it. I now make a pot for no more than a dash over 10 cups of water and 10.5 cups worth of grounds. The other thing I do not like is the measure for the water. As many people have said, it is very difficult to see the water level while pouring in the water. It truly needs a window on the outside of this for easier use. In the end, it is an ok coffee maker. If I hadn't got it on sale I would have returned it. For folks looking for a true 12 cup coffee maker, this is not the one for you.
Your new design sadly eliminates the water level gauge on the side of the coffeemaker. It is difficult to accurately determine the water level in the carafe using the level marks scribed on the carafe. The water level markers inside the coffee maker are of little use.
