[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those kitchen (or grill) accessories that you don't usually intend to just go out and purchase, but it's certainly worth buying! I've used this grill press in a variety of ways and it has impressed me every time. The weight is just enough to do the job, but not so heavy that it is a chore to keep up with, clean, etc. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic. My only complaint is that I've been doing way too much cooking in the past without having this in my arsenal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an awesome grill press , it's works like magic to keeping your grill meats pressed down to get an even cook . It's actually guarantee to helping your meats are cooked done and evenly . . It's makes it cook faster and much healthier , the great just runs off the to the sides . . Easy to use just heat the dress on the grill first then use away on your favorites . So awesome your meats , breads will have grill marks on them , makes great panninis ., making them look professional and more appealing . . It's so cool it's weighs about 3 punds easy to clean , great for just about anything need to pressed . The grill press is made of cast iron which will last a life time. . I luv it
Most of my kitchenware is Cuisinart, this press is no exception to their quality products. It has a beautiful wood handle, and the press is perfect for toasting meat, muffins, even veggies on the grill. This press keeps an even temperature and speeds up the cooking time. It washes easily and keeps looking good time after time. My neighbor borrows mine all the time. I am buying one for his next birthday so that he leaves mine alone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's heavy and dutiful. Great tool for indoor cooking. It's a little cold out, so I started using it on my indoor cooking adventures. First up was a grilled cheese sandwich and soon it will all my meats.
I love it. It is great because I want things to be well done and it makes my burger well done even in the middle. I also used it to make a panini and it came out great. It was very easy to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Cast iron press in the mail last week. Since then I have been able to try it out in a few different scenarios. The first time I used it for panini sandwiches. I placed the press onto my pan to heat up before using it. While using it for the sandwiches I got very light grill marks. It took a long time for the press to heat up. The second time I used it on the grill for chicken breast and had far more success with it! This item is a handy tool to have around, you just need to make sure you give yourself enough time for it to properly heat up, otherwise you wont get the grill marks you are hoping for.
Ibreally looked forward to this arriving and was disappointed. I opened the box and the handle had broken off. I wanted to blame shipping but when I touched it--it was clear it was the wood being faulty. I can still use the product without the wooden handle part but it takes away from it. If they work to improve this --the product would be great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This grills press is big and bulky. Too big for a skillet to be used in the house instead of on the grill. The cast iron needs to be seasoned before use which I didn't think I would need to do. The handle is cheesy weak. I would be scared to expose the handle to the heat of a grill. A little disappointed that is has the Cuisinart name on it. There products are worthy of better than this.
