best for really short hair
I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY MOMS HAIR (by the way, my mom is 103 yrs. old and still wants to look good). Mom has very short hair and this is perfect for curing her hair - mom and I are very pleased with this item, shipping was very prompt, item heats up nicely

Large curling rod creates soft waves
It heats up fast, swivel cord prevents this long cord from getting tangled. I love having digital display for heat temperature. Gives my strong %26 coarse hair large soft waves

The curling iron is nice, it looks nice, gets very hot but it is way to heavy And awkward to use.

UNHAPPY DUE TO NO HEAT
The heat shows up to and over 300 degrees, but my old one I could not go over 180 due to heat was too hot. I can go to max on this one I purchased, and it is barely warm. If it would heat, I would recommend whole heartedly but not with the temperature luke warm .
