Perfect for my son's guitar.
This capo was perfect for my Baby Taylor. It allowed me to adjust the tension perfectly.
Nicest, simplest capo I've ever owned. Does the job, simple and elegant. Doesn't get in the way and looks unobtrusive when you're using it
Great lightweight capo for guitar. Have used on both electric and acoustic. low profile and always in my bag now
I am quite pleased with this capo. It is easy to put on the guitar and adjusts firmly and quickly. It seems to be well constructed and has good tension. I didn't have to do any fine-tuning as a result of the capo, just on and off. There are no elastic straps to fool with and no exposed metal parts to scratch the guitar. As you can see in the attached pictures, this capo should fit most if not all 6-string electric or acoustic guitars with a radiused fingerboard. They also make one for flat fingerboards. I haven't seen the silver capo but I think I prefer the black anyway. This is a good little capo and I like it.
My husband plays guitar so we decided to try this Capo and we are glad we did. He likes that he can choose how much pressure to apply to the strings by turning the tension knob as opposed to the style of Capo that is spring tensioned. We definitely recommend!
It's okay, needs better structure
Decent capo for the price
Ive been playing guitar for some time now and started doing some cover song of Tom Petty. My favorite song to play is, "You Wreck Me" but to play it I need a capo. This capo works great and is very easy to use. I can now play the music I love with no setbacks.
The D'Addario Capo is a nice light plastic capo. I find that it doesn't have a wide adjustment range to fit many different instruments necks (ukuleles, mandolins, etc.) but, it did do well on my acoustic guitar and banjo. It is very light weight and compact compared to heavier metal capos. The fact that it is plastic and has a rubber foot prevents it from vibrating or resonating unlike metal ones. However, since it is plastic makes me feel that it might not last as long as the others. I have found over the years that plastic does not hold up and the hotter the environment it is in the quicker the deterioration. Other than that, it seems to be a good buy for the price.
