DampRid Hanging Moisture Absorber, Lavender Vanilla, 14 oz, 3 Pack

The Citrus scent was a bit too strong for my liking, but man, it did the job! My husband's coat/jacket closet smelled aweful one day when I had to put something away. Yuk! So I found DampRid here on Walmart.com and now I'm a happy camper! Took all the nasty smells away. I had some Un-fresh smells coming from our linen closet too, so decided to try one there. OMG! What a difference! Since then I noticed that maybe ALL our closets didn't smell so fresh... Now DampRid is hanging in ALL our closets. The Lavender/Vanilla is my favorite, but the Unscented one is great too. They ALL do their job. No more musty smelling closets!!!

my dehumidifier broke last summer so thought i"d try this stuff instead of buying a new one. Liked it so got some more for this year. seems to do the trick along with the ac running keeps the basement from smelling musty, hang all 3 in different areas

I love these bags they are amazing especially living in an older apartment complex there is lots of moisture and they do the job well a lot less work than having a dehumidifier that you have to empty buckets of water from.

SUPER IMPRESSED!! I live in Louisiana and we have terrible humidity here. I put one in my closet and within 2 days, there was water in the bottom part of the bag!!

Can't say enough about these. I have them hanging in every closet, laundry room, etc. The amount of moisture that accumulates is amazing. Love the Lavender/ Vanilla smell, however they do make a non scented for those who want fragrance free. Each box has three hanging pouches. When each is full, you are suppose to snip the end and flush away the liquid. Then recycle the rest. Great bargain, depending upon how much moisture is in your household, mine last about 2 months, and I live on the ocean. This product does what it claims.

I love the Lavender Vanilla fragrance in the DampRid. We have been using these for years in brick home and are very satisfied with this brand. We also put a container in the safe and behind the books in the book case. I highly recommend DampRid.

I purchased these for my sons closet as it has that damp and musty smell and I wanted to fix the issue. I just hung this up yesterday and it has already made such a difference. I can smell the lavender scent in the hallway that leads to his bedroom door. It has definitely improved the problem a ton and it hasn not even been a full 24 hours. I also went ahead and put one in my daughters room. I will be purchasing more so that I can place them in all the closets. I am impressed with the results so far and glad that I chose this product. The scent is very nice, it is light and pleasant. Not harsh and overpowering like some scented products tend to be. I highly recommend!

I live in an area with low/no humidity. Or so I thought...I started using these when I set up a storage unit nearly a year ago to help keep the musty odor out of the stuff I was putting in there. (I was using 3 at a time as it's a 12x12 unit). It was getting close to wintertime (which generally lasts around 8 months here) so while I noticed the fresh smell everytime I would open the unit, I never saw more than droplets in the bottom bag. But the crystals would become compacted and smaller and had clearly absorbed moisture so I knew they worked. I replaced them every 2 months but never understood what the point in the bottom bag was. Fast forward to June when I hadn't been in arrive around 4 months and we'd had a handful of storms and some unusually muggy weather. I went to my unit for routine reasons and found all 3 bags were at least half filled (or more) with actual water!! I was blown away. I can't stop thinking how my items would've absorbed all that had I not had those in there. (I wish I had taken pictures at that time but forgot) I immediately replaced them but this time put 6 in there because I wasn't sure how the rest of the summer was going to go. I just went back the other day after one month of having 6 in there and found all 6 to have a good layer of water in them! Here's the thing...I live in a Northwestern state that is suffering from severe drought right now. Much of the state is in fire and the air is filled with a very thick haze of smoke. Yet all 6 bags still pulled this much moisture from the air of my unit in one month. I'm a believer. If for any reason you're on the fence about these don't hesitate. They are worth every penny.

Use these to help with excessive humidity in my modular home. My home doesn't do well with humidity and can get a musty or moldy like smell. I use a lot of these everywhere and it keeps my home dry and smelling very fresh, especially the bathroom. Can't live without them.

It's easy to use and I have found DampRid products to be very effective. However, the Lavender Vanilla scent smells like baby powder. From my closet the smell fills the whole room. I wanted and expected a lavender scent. This is probably great for people who really like baby powder scent.
