I have used this in the past.It works very well. That's why I purchased it.I'm gonna not gonna use it until this fall. When I put my boat up for the winter, but you get about two years out of one of these big buckets, so I put one in my cabin, and one in my bathroom with my boat, and there's no mill dew, no moisture. It's that does an excellent job
i use this in the bathrooms to keep the musty odor out. we live in florida and sometimes with the heat we get that smell. i also used them in illinois when we lived in a park model on weekends. again, kept the musty odor out.
We use these in our 40foot camper which is stored outside in South Carolina. When we get to our camper we just throw away the filled up canisters, use our camper, then put new ones in before it goes back into storage. It does a very good job to keep moisture, mold and musty odors out.
I placed the old product container under the kitchen sink a year ago after a couple of minor leaks and checked on it recently and it was heavy and was full of moisture. I think it's the best thing to keep under a sink that has had a problem so it can draw the moisture out of the particle board and help to prevent further damage. Very impressed!!
Good source of dehumidification if the power goes out during times of high humidity, such as a hurricane. You'll need this high-capacity unit, as well as lots of extra dehumidifier crystals, when you can't run your air conditioner or dehumidifiers to protect your home from mold and mildew until your power is restored.
damping is a great product to help eliminate the dampness in the upstairs apartment I live in. I've purchased it every year!!
Damp Rid is a must have for your RV when not in use. It will save your RV from moisture build up which can be detrimental.
The Damprid containers really should have an additional lid that keeps the buckets from dumping the damprid chemicals out onto the floor or trunk of my car. I've spilled the chemicals 3 times. Once for each bucket I've purchased. That is absolutely ridiculous. He'll, your pictures on the damprid containers show a picture of an upper retaining ventilation cover. But not one came with one. Are you guys serious now. You make it expensive for the bigger container %26 then I accidentally knock it over %26 half the chemicals fall out. Your picture Clearly shows a lid with holes in it. There's no such thing in the shipment. I'd be better off putting these chemicals in some glad bags with holes in them. Something that at least holds these 1000s of grains of chemicals in the bucket that isn't the lid? Or am I just supposed drill or cut holes in the lid myself? Absolutely silly.
This product arrived late. When it did arrive I used it on some residual ice on the driveway and while it melted the ice, it broke down the cement. I search for potassium chloride to not damage the drive, but it behaves as if rick salt was mixed in. Avoid this product. Your driveway repair will be very expensive.
This is the second bucket that arrived with loose crystals already in the bottom, and even after a week in our musty and damp crawl space, it's not absorbing anything. I'll give it a few more days then they are both going back. Will look at another brand.
