I've been using DampRid for years in my basement. It works well in absorbing moisture from the air just by hanging there! I use it esp. in my storage area where I have photos in bins. I use it alongside my dehumidifier & it helps.
I use these in every room. They are needed by the washing machine, in the bathroom, in the bedroom closets, and under sinks. They absorb a lot of moisture. They do need to make a larger size, maybe one you can sit in the floor. Great item though.
In Florida with high humidity especially where closets are close to bathrooms with showers these are a must.
Excellent product for removing moisture. I use in all closets and harvest two cups of water every two months. I know this helps prevent mold/mildew. Best price is Sam's. I've looked everywhere.
I use these hanging bags in each closet so I purchase them often. I've tried the off brands and they do not work as well as the Damp Rid product. So, I'm tired of throwing away $$$ and now use only the Damp Rid brand. The best deals are from walmart.com.
This product works great.
4pack of hanging damp rid. Works great in closets.
I can recommended it, somewhat. You must be 'Diligent' to keep a check on it, as if you allow it to 'Over-flow'......an oily, icky mixture will spill out onto your carpet. If you pay attention to it, you should take it down before it overflows...AND THEN ALL THE MOISTURE YOU'VE GOTTEN OUT OF THE ROOM CAN BE DISCARDED! That's a wonderful feeling!
I received the item and I didn't initiate a refund. Why am I getting a refund for this? There is no explanation on your message at all.
I thought it was a local seller. Came from China. Took forever to arrive. I thought it was liquid. It's some kind of chips. Nothing was written in English. I was too scared to use it in my plumbing. I think if the seller is from another country, they need to inform the buyer. Took forever to arrive. I needed it by the next day with my other items.
