Great Product for wet basements that have musty molding smell, it take the excess moisture out of the house ,I even have it in my bedroom, because of the wet basement it really works. wonderful, I have shared this with my boss, and coworkers
We have a really damp apartment and this stuff really works! I have one in every room and a Lavender and Vanilla one hanging in the closet. I will be ordering more.
Works great in a basement or storm shelter.
Definitely controls the musty smell in my lower level (finished basement)
This product really works to get rid of musty, mildew-y odors! A container lasts for quite a while, depending on how much mildew there is. My only comment would be that the manufacturers need to make the containers a little more attractive. Although I put most of the containers in closets and under sinks, it would be nice to be able to set them out in a room, too. They don't look very good, as they're covered with bright colors and labels.
Tired of Clean clothes getting "musty" smelling just hanging in your closet? The Linen Closet? Under your Bath and/or Kitchen sinks? The Guest Room you always keep closed (so pets, kitchen odors, etc don't get in)? USE DampRid! We no longer have ANY "musty" smells, thanks to this amazing, affordable product. Buy a Refill bag too, you'll be amazed at how quickly this pulls all moisture and there's nothing but liquid in the container. The Charcoal one is great too, use it in the worst areas; the regular product melts away but the charcoal doesn't - just add more "crystals" from the Refill bag and mix it in. I'm so glad I tried these products, they're truly amazing %26 my home %26 clothing now maintain the fresh, clean scent we All want, at a price we (mostly) can all afford. With the humidity in Florida this is the only product I've found that actually makes a difference.
I live in Puerto Rico and no AC. With humidity at 90 percent almost every day, you could imagine what my clothes would smell like if it were not for my damp rid. I have 4 containers around the house and they are changed every week. No mold, no smell
damp rid makes good stuff and i use these alot as my house is old and prone to mildew. they can get pricey when having to buy alot, so I usually buy the refill bag and refill these containers myself instead of buying more
I live 45 minutes from the nearest Walmart. Twice I tried to order the fragrance free as I do not like the scented damp rids. Twice it was delivered to me as fresh scent. I feel like the sku number must be wrong in the shipping room. I ended up returning the second time at the store and I was able to find the fragrance free kind. I am satisfied with what I eventually received.
I ordered these to use in my laundry room which comes off from my garage. It can get humid in there (around 70 % humidity) in the summer months. These took several weeks to actually see any amount of water in the bottom of the cup. These work, but not to the degree I was expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I'd still recommend these to a friend.
