I really love the smell of this! I've just set it up a few hours ago and the crystals are already stuck together and shiny, so it definitely absorbs moisture! The smell is so nice! It's not overly strong at all but smells strong enough to work. It's a fresh clean smell. I like that the size of the bucket is smaller than the Arm and Hammer version. It was easy to stick it on my closet shelf in the bathroom, which tends to smell musty. My favorite part though is the smell. If I could get it as an air freshener I would.

I had a leak in my bathroom sink a few months ago and underneath has been musty ever since. This product has helped contain the ongoing moisture and the smell is fantastic. Love opening the cabinet door when I am in bathroom just so I can get a whiff. It was really simple and easy to use. Just open the bag of absorber crystals, pour them into the cup and snap on the lid. A welcome addition to maintaining freshness in my bathroom!

The DampRid Refillable Moisture Absorber, Lavender Vanilla is absolutely amazing. When I got it, it was packaged very well nothing was broken. The moisture absorber has a lid, a white bucket to go inside the container. You also get a packet of pebbles that are lavender scented that you would pour into the white bucket. This is small enough you can hide it anywhere you want. You can place in a closet, by your bed, in a laundry room and no one will see it. There was slight moisture in my closet, and I placed this in there. In a few hours, my closet was smelling a whole lot better. The best part is that it's refillable all you have to do is by the packets if you want to use it again. I would definitely recommend you buy this.

The smell is soft not overwhelming. It really helped the smell in my car, my car smelled because of some water that got in my car. The smell was so bad and this really helped neutralize the smell. It must be great in basement or a damp closet. It turns into rocks and it falls down in the tub once it is done. I would definitely buy this again.

Surprised how well this took away the damp odor smell in my neighbor's closet. It worked for me so recommended it for her as the west side of her house has had rain seep through the brick mortar and gave her closet the musty smell associated with damp conditions. Within a short time, the odor was GONE!

The DampRid was placed in the basement. It is easy to set up. It removed all the musty smell from our basement as well as moisture which collects in the bottom of the container. It left a really nice scent too. Easy to dispose of too. After all dissolves jut flush. It is safe for septics. I highly recommend trying it.

Of course it is summer and humidity here in Sacramento is at a all time low. We put this in our bedroom/gym to help since that is where we use the treadmill and equipment. It has really helped with the odor and with a cat box in the room that is a big plus. I love that the container has a basket so that you dump excess water as you go. I will be putting these in both bathrooms, the garage and kitchen as well as out in our tent trailer for the winter.

We have had a super humid summer so far. Humidifiers are great, but extremely expensive now. This gives you an inexpensive alternative to help take the dampness from your rooms. The Lavender-Vanilla scent adds a gentle scent to your room as it removes the moisture.

Ill start off by saying i have a finished basement, but i have a litte unfinished pipe room with all the plumbing from the upstairs bathroom and downstairs bathroom. That room. Sometimes has a "bathroom" smell to it. I usually buy the genaric odor/moisture eliminator for it, but this one is quite a bit bigger and comes in a lavender scent which i love. The lavender scent is pretty faint at first but as it absorbs the moister the scent is more noticeable. The set up us super easy, just open the lid and poor the crystals inside then close the lid again and set it where yiu want it to go. It does absorb moister in the air and eliminate odors really well the water is trapped in the bottom of the tub. I will be buying this brand from now on.

1st time I tried the scented version. It does not perfume the room at all. Very light. I have used Damp Rid for years. I will now continue with the scented ones.
