Danco 1-3/4 Inch Rust Resistant Sink Hole Cover in White (89331)

This product looks so professional looking! I’m just so pleased how easy to install in maybe ten minutes!

Perfect fit for a 1.25” opening. Also wanted a cover that was NOT curved to that I could set things on top of the cover and this one is perfectly flat with beveled edges. Very attractive and easy to install. Bonus points for including a foam washer to fit between cover and sink opening… you can’t see it but prevents water from washing down the hole. A little silicone on that and an overnight dry and it’s perfect!!

We changed our faucet to one that has a regular stream and a shower so our old sink hose became redundant. I removed the hose but then was stuck with an ugly hole. This product was perfect for us since it covered the hole where the hose used to be. Installation was super easy: The hole cover has a threaded part that enters the hole, and then you attach a large washer and nut from underneath to secure it to the sink. Overall, this is a very good product for those unsightly holes and I highly recommend it.

Not much to say here. This DANCO Sink Hole Cover is 1-3/4-Inches round and covers up extra, unused hiles in your sink. It has a very nice brush nickeled finished that matches my sink and faucet. It's supposed to be rust resistant. Only time will tell, but it has held up nicely so far. I don't know of it's necessary, but I always put a ring of silicone on the backside so that it attaches firmly to the sink and to avoid any leaks. This technique hasn't failed me so far. Would definitely recommend this product.

I received this DANCO Rust Resistant Sink Hole Cover, 1-3/4 Inch, Chrome, 1-Pack (89344) for my use and review. I got it and it took my partner only 5 minutes to remove the old spray faucet and install this hole cover. it looks very nice and it serves the purpose marvelously. I would recommend this product to my family and friendds.

This is a good device for covering the hole, that is often left in the sink, where an old style faucet came out. You might be upgrading or perhaps moved to a home where a faucet has no sprayer – yet the sink has a hole for one. This Danco sink hole cover, was a perfect match to my existing faucet and my stainless steel sink. Although it is made of plastic, it looks as if it will hold up. We installed it easily and it fits tight. The design of the piece allows for it to adjust to different sized sink thickness. Once installed it looks like smooth chrome, and I love how it is in there to stay. I have previously had those caps that are supposed to fit tight but never do, and they popped out all the time. This one was a replacement for one of those styles. I got to say I am loving it. I will need to be sure and not use any abrasive cleaners, or I might take the finish off. I would recommend it and they do have other styles so perhaps if your sink faucet were bronze or another color you can match to your décor choice.

i had the hole in the top of my sink from the hand sprayer thing being removed when we got a new faucet and water kept splashing into it and under my sink every time i did the dishes. i didnt want mold under there so i got this and it fixed all my problems. the size was perfect and it comes with a nut that you put on the end to keep it in place. great item love it.

I never knew there was such a thing as a sink hole cover. I had been putting an old bottle cap over the hole to keep water from being splashed into my bottom cabinet. What a difference in looks this makes in my old kitchen! It makes the sink area look clean and the chrome finish matches my faucet. It was super easy to install, too. No water will drip underneath the sink now since you use silicone caulk to create a watertight seal.

First of all, it's plastic not metal, so the construction is cheap. The finish is chrome, but it's tolerable against a brushed nickel finish. The instructions tell you to use silicone under the cap and under the gasket. No. Use a well-kneaded roll of plumber's putty under the cap and sink surface. It helps if someone above is holding the cap still while it's being tightened under the sink because it will slide around while being tightened. It's functional, but cheap.

This Danco sink hole cover works as described in the description of the product. I used this sink hole cover on my kitchen sink to cover up the hole to where I had a sprayer. I no longer needed the sprayer once I changed out my kitchen faucets and the new faucet had a pull down sprayer built into the new kitchen faucet that I had chosen to replace my older faucet with. It was simple to do and instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. All in all I’ve been very pleased with this product and happy with the way my “old kitchen sink” looks “brand new” again!!
